SPIRO: Jake was never the White candidate for Wallabies

Thats because he created gaps using power, determination and guts. Also he received balls at pace from a good 10 that drew defenders not hop-skip-no look pass.

Question, did anyone watch the old games before and after rugby club? Great games we can only hope for something like that on the weekend. If you did watch the games did you notice the amount of mistakes Cooper made, he has improved greatly. 🙂

Why the Wallabies struggle with the 'choke tackle'

SO let me see if I got this….

What you are really saying is that the people in charge at the brumbies empowered with the ability to see the future and knowing that JW would leave after two years would not have employed him 2 years ago?

All professionals are out for them selves, the brumbies captain Poe was out for himself when he made the choice to move to ACT… its the way of things.

He was paid well and did a great job, worth every penny. He has setup something that will help the Brums into the future long after his departure.

This is just a typical sour grapes lets hate rather then simply saying thank you.

Jake White was simply out for himself

The Brumbies will be harvesting JW fruit long after this his departure.

I am sure both Laury and Bernie have learned a lot from JW, they will use it as a base and with their own talents become better coaches.

Jake a bow and thanks for the memories

Yes Mania some bloke thought Digby was a bigger loss… but then again he was from QL.

There is no need to be negative he was paid to do a job and he has done it better then anyone else could have. In other words he was worth every penny and if the Brumbies board had to do it again I am sure they would have.

Jake a bow and thanks for the memories

What is the answer at 9 Biltong?

Boks' du Preez back for Wallabies Test

Yes Kev but it also does not make him the bad guy

Jake White stuns the Brumbies with early departure

White has setup the goods at the Brumbies I like the idea of Bernie taking over. Remember how well PDV did with JW’s springboks? I am sure Bernie will do better then PDV. The Brumbies will do fine from here on end, you never hear of issues with players from the capital.

For the people that cry conspircy, here is one for you, this just in…

Jake White is still on the payroll at the ARU to move back to SA and signup forwards from within SA to join AUS. 2019 Aussie team

Jake White stuns the Brumbies with early departure

HE is starting… this is not good for the Wallabies, Pienaar has been the weak link

Boks' du Preez back for Wallabies Test

Yes especially at international level as Link is finding out

Jake White stuns the Brumbies with early departure

a couple of points here, if I was White I would question my future in Australia too, after the Deans and Authur saga’s it would be scary for a foreign coach. This is beside the slide of union in Australia and the lack of real depth, grassroots feeders and structure supporting union in Australia. If taken seriously he could have made an impact but at what risk? Even after he has achieved the unthinkable with the brumbies he is branded as boring and un australian.

Second, Jake is suffering from a typicle first Saffa-Aussie move syndrome, many of my Saffa friends have had the same. You miss home, remember only the good, feel like you missing out on everything back home. Then when you get back and see the bars on the windows, get treated like mud, cut off by taxi’s, mugged once or twice, start reading the papers and realise how incompetent government is. You realise nothing has changed, you remember why you left and why it was so much better in Aus. All your friends and family just keep going about life, nothing special…. then you make a final choice, some stay, some come back permanently.

In saying that, Jake White is a proven INTERNATIONAL coach, something previous messiah Deans found hard and current messiah McKenzie is finding very tough. If Australia wants to remain or re take a 1st tier rugby nation place they need to stop hiring super coaches and start getting proven blokes to run the show on all levels.

White never coached super rugby and frankly he has made it look easy. White has proven himself under huge pressure at the right levels. Its a big loss for the Brumbies and even bigger loss for Australia. Hopefully the ARU still offer him the job when Ewen fails and hopefully he is free but I highly doubt it.

As for Jake what ever it is that made him quit, it has to be huge, he would not have made that choice easily.

Kev if you think Diggers is a bigger loss then white then I have lost all respect for you. How many Wallabies has Diggers put into the team this year? -1? How many did White create? He did this even though creating Wallabies is not his Job. Diggers could not sort out contracts and cash flow and decided to head for money away from the Wallabies in his prime.

I wish the roar could cut down on silly comments like this.

I hope you are right Rob9, I must admit I use to be so excited for Feb/March start to Super Rugby… not anymore.

With Australia not having a domestic comp Super rugby is really the only live rugby you get on TV.

How to bring back the mystique of Test rugby

Biltong as always a very good read, I agree with you my concern is for my adopted country Australia, where does this leave us. The rugby world needs a good Aussie team and a good Aussie team needs super rugby. A trans Tasman comp won’t generate enough money to keep the good players in Aus.
