Nice article. Wade is pounding at the door rather that kicking it in Gilchrist-style but Haddin is on severe notice.

Haddin and Healy, two gloves in a pod

If Australia can get two of the youngsters feasting on runs and averaging 50 in first class consistently, The Ashes are ours. Our bowlers, arguably understregnth at the moment, would bowl out any batting line-up England has to offer. We just need to sort out our batting.

Spiro you are right, the success of the old dogs against India is fool’s gold at the moment. As India’s big four are finding out; the wheels come off very quickly.

Watch out England! Australia is going to take back the Ashes

It’s stupid how much better Messi is than everyone else.

“I can’t believe an article like this was written after that series. Whether or not it’s the Clarke influence (and it probably is), the Aussies were as well behaved as I’ve seen them for years.”

You don’t think fielding standards have improved in 20 years?

Brett of course I see this happen the other way,I just think we can be better than that. This imaginary “line” that when crossed has no place in the game – who polices it, what is the standard.

I actually don’t hate sledging, it can be entertaining, I just think it’s a bit old world.

Just my opinion.

I’m pretty pleased with the effect Arthur has had on the Test team so far. Hard to fault his choices.

Mickey Arthur out of line with selection policies

It’s a shame that White’s form is cold now. I had high hopes for him as a potential Test captain – I know that sounds ludacris now!
