1)why did haris rauf declined to play tests.
2)why did Quinton de cock retired from test cricket very early in his career that too when he was a leading cricketer in the world.
3)no one was attending test matches in Pakistan, hence PCB allowed free entry to the stadiums. but still no one cared to go to stadium to watch their team play in front of them after a long decade. does anyone know about this.
4)South Africa loses money from their coffers every time they host test matches other than India because there are not enough people watching it. even when they host Aus/Eng for Tests, they are losing money.

can u mention something outside of Australia/England and Ashes to make your point. people talk as if Ashes is the messiah of all sports. but in reality it is not for 10 other test playing nations and it is just a bilateral test series between two nations.

Everyone needs to pull their heads out of the sand. on what basis Steve Smith is mentioned in this column. his numbers are just pathetic in T20I’s. they read 25 avg and 125 strike rate.

I dont see what is wrong in that. just because he is not a well known player around the world doesnt make him any less. that shows that he is as good as any and an underrated player.
and also from that list you can have minimum criteria like minimum average 30 or minimum strike rate 130 and drop those who dont.

nah! that ipl is useless. it is a domestic league and not in the same league as internationals. by the way since u are so fond of it, lets talk. I dig up some stats. there is one important player who missed because of that math. it is rishab pant. strike rate is 162. average is 36. so u should combine average and strike rate to get correct picture.

i think u got the math wrong there. in t20i, we cant divide strike rate and average and see them seperately. they are so inseparable. you have to combine average and strike rate and then see. in this case it will be 159+ and 650+ runs. can u do that.
