A ref making two calls on the one play is bigger than your normal howler… I would have no problem if the bunker intervened when Wighton was tackled to sort that mess out…

Whatever we say or do won’t change the scoreboard, best to move on…But just out of curiosity, would people have an issue with the bunker getting involved when a massive howler like the “6 again call” has been made?

Regardless of the rules”” I feel the wrong call was made, but, just imagine on an occasion like that we just let the ref feed the scrum, we probably wouldn’t be in the mess we are now….Anyway, nothing we say or do will change the scoreboard, have a great day mate.

So common sense shouldn’t come into the make up of when making the rules?…That’s more my point, mate…….
Also adding, I seen a try disallowed in the girls game on the weekend where the kicker was deemed to have run behind another player and the try was disallowed because it was called obstruction, but there was no-one impeded because there was no chaser on the kicker. Just another rule where common sense wasn’t used in the make up of the rule, Imo…

Just on the trainer incident. The rules were strictly adhered to by the refs with awarding the Roosters the ball, but I think there is still a place in the game for common sense to be used, and that would’ve been a perfect time to use common sense….

Hmm, tough one… I think the Raiders need to go out onto the field believing they can score 5 tries in the first 20 minutes, if they go out onto the park thinking let’s get into a grind with the Roosters I think they’ll be smashed… I also think a key for the Raiders is BJ and Rapana targeting Latrell, a few times this season I have seen him bamboozled in defence and they need to exploit that, also have your goal line defence like a brick wall…. I ain’t got much else other than, good luck….

Not sure how Sivo missed out on being nominated, but I’m not all that disappointed…To make the list of nominees for next season he would need to lift his game?…That certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing for the Eels 🙂

Roosters have beaten the Raiders twice this season, some may say close games but I tend to think the Roosters were in coasting mode, they’ve gone up a gear since then. Cronk’s last game. Raiders poor record against the Roosters in Sydney etc etc. For mine it’s all leading to the Raiders getting spanked. I hope not as I just want to see a close game, but doubt that’s gonna happen, Roosters by 20+

I think the ref got to the right call eventually, but you cannot have a ref make two different signals on the one play whilst the ball is still live…. In a perfect world I think Cummings probably should’ve called a halt to play and asked for the tackle to be replayed as soon as he realised his mistake. That cant be done now, but think it needs to be written into the rules so we all know where we stand if it ever happens again…JMO
