Having watched this stage, I agree you’ve got a good summary here. I myself am finding this Vuelta more interesting than either the Tour or the Giro because we really don’t know who will win.

Vuelta Diary, Stage 11: Kessiakoff snares unlikely victory

I’ve been consistently impressed by Voeckler.

Tour de France Diary, Stage 20: Cavendish clinical on the Champs Élysées

Hope you’re right about the Orica-GreenEDGE boys Des – would love to see one of them grab the team’s first stage win at the Tour. I hope it’s Stuart O’Grady, but I guess Goss is most likely. But it’s Stuey who deserves it most!

Tour de France Diary, Stage 15: Fedrigo makes it four for France at Tour 2012

I’m lost for words about the tacks incident – unbelievable chaos, no doubt exactly what the perpetrator had in mind… and could potentially have caused even more tragic consequences.

Tour de France Diary, Stage 14: Saboteurs cause chaos for Evans, field

I agree, Cadel is looking consistently strong.

Tour de France Diary, Stage Eight: Evans strong in second

Wiggins looked stronger on the climb than I would have expected – I’m surprised he and Cadel were so close together

Tour de France Diary, Stage Seven: Evans second as Froome claims unlikely victory

That Sagan managed to avoid involvement in that crash is evidence of his sublime bike-handling skills!

Tour de France Diary, Stage Four: Greipel takes win amid chaos

Unbelievably courageous feat by Tjallingii!

Tour de France Diary, Stage Three: Sagan does the business at Boulogne-sur-Mer

I personally was impressed with BMC and the strength they showed as a team and in support of Cadel, keeping him at the front and out of trouble.

Tour de France Diary, Stage Two: Cavendish back to old tricks

Cadel Evans looked to me to have ridden a conservative Time Trial – he’s shrewd man.

Cancellara shows he is still the man to beat
