I think you need to watch more Bok rugby. Go look at the last 18 months. England had a good game, that was 7 days ago. Tomorrow is a new day, different teams. You’re reading too much into the semi-finals. Last time i checked England lost to Wales, the same England (apparently has more variation in attack) team that beat the All Blacks. Its a final tomorrow, against a team that beat Wales and has outscored teams (with tries) who supposedly have better attacks and better backlines. My point is, both teams start from scratch. Last week counts for nothing.

I think what you are trying to say is ‘Change the rules of Rugby for the World Cup’ ? Go watch Rapid Rugby maybe? I think World Cups are special and we see the good teams able to adapt to knockout rugby. Its 2 months of test match rugby. Its awesome. You also get to go on a journey with your favourite team, see some great rugby from the worlds best players. If it was about a style then why dont we just get 10 NZ clubs and watch that ?

Rassie is smart. He also has a full pack on the bench. England seem very fixated on the size of the SB’s and having to match them that they might just forget about other key areas but probalbhy not, they are well coached. Added, England haven’t come up against a side that has performed well against the All Blacks like the SB’s have overt the last 18 months. The media seem to have run away with this idea that the SB’s have to change to win ? They play the team using the their core strengths, the more dynamic the opposition the more variation is used. Wales are boring, they play boring. 2007 the SB’s outplayed England at their own game which was in effect was boring. I don’t recall any tries. SB’s did the same with Wales, outplayed at their own game. I also remember the Springboks outscoring the All Blacks in the try department this year as well as having the fewest points against. can anyone confirm that ? Dunno, not writing the SB’s off, in fact i think we might see something so insane the English will be left with skid-marks in their undies. Either way i think this is going to be a great final and good for world rugby.

Because we have one plan and we don’t know how to adapt to the modern game, it’s coaching, our coach is rubbish. We are behind, all the brains and experience is either overseas or commentating. The NZ figured out our game plan in 1 week cause it sucks and we don’t have the ability to adapt on the field.

I think those people are in denial. One win with 15 v 14 and we are World Cup hopefuls. Izzy is missed, the guy is awesome. Seems we can’t acknowledge we need the guy and we can’t talk negatively in post match interviews and actually say what needs to be said: we suck and we need world class players.

Mate, we had about 20 articles this week about how amazing the WBs are. Kiwi boys are entitled to some joy, Theo side destroyed us with 14 on 15 for some time.

We don’t have much faith in the WBs here in Perth ALG90… well the people i know at least. Got screwed by the ARU as well, people are disengaging with Rugby until it is fixed yet we love our country and come out to support our team. I know of quite a few people giving tickets away. We have a large rugby community and following here as you can see by the 60 000 sell out and so its tough as we have no local players in the WBs. Best thing that can happen is get rid of the angry hippo and the chairman and get WA back into Australian rugby.

Best side for a while but we have a lot to prove. This game will tell us if we have made improvements. My heart says yes, my head says we are still behind and will get destroyed in the second half. All Blacks are bruised from Wellington, they have something to prove and we saw some of that in the second half two weeks ago. I don’t like our chances unless we can slow the ball down and allow the defence some time to reset. If our set pieces don’t match the NZ we are in for a flogging. A lot of pressure on this team.

Good point, its been a big month for Argies. We will see this weekend how we go with NZ, im still not confident we have become world beaters over 1 game. Should be a better test and help show where we stand in terms of the WC.

Haha. Look I hope you are right but the NZ team will be fired up, a game under their belt, not far to travel and much to prove to themselves and their coaching staff. We won a lousy game, we haven’t suddenly arrived as world beaters. All the positive spin coming out of the WBs is from a psychologist about being positive an talking your future into existence.
