..schoolboy rugby-club rugby-super rugby-wallabies..it’s pretty clear..that’s the australian rugby union model..they’ve had 2 iterations of a provincial championship, merged, dropped and swapped teams around but obviously that didn’t work..only attracted a handful of supporters at matches..lost a lot of money..

..it’s a valid question..many of the PI players are originally from nz..eg. hunter paisami, paenga-amosa, jordan uelese, irae simone, etc..was wondering if you count them as grassroots talents since they learned much of their trade in aussie schools and club rugby..

I gotta question for you..half the aussie schoolboy rep sides, half the oz super rugby players and half the wallabies are PI’ers..do you classify them as from “grassroots” or “community based” rugby?
