I think what PNG Bronco is trying to say is that there was no Les Boyd or Ben Flower style malice in it. It was clumsy and late, and the suspension was deserved but if Slater had not slipped it would of been completely different.

In all seriousness the ARU should have been bending over backwards to sign Cronk. Fifita has a rugby background too and has also expressed interest in returning to his roots. How could the ARU not be interested? Imagine him running flat pace of a short ball at the Scots. Instead we get box kicks that go backwards more often than not, and forwards who look like they are running in quicksand. There were 3 leagies in yesterdays team, lets put another 18 or so in and stop embarrassing ourselves.
