@Paul, I have to say your story is one-sided and it feels as though religiously motivated. Or why’d you leave out the part where Armenians sided with Russia (despite being citizens of Turkey) and were the first to stir the pot by killing Muslims living in armenien dominated regions in hopes of separating from Turkey. They even wrote books after their “independance” bragging about the massacre of Muslims and raping their women.
Very one-sided story there, even by armenien standards.

ANZAC Day: How sport shaped the lives of our war heroes

That doesn’t change anything I said or does it? Pakistan would have been bowled out for 150 odd on that wicket if they were playing against any of the top 3. Besides, you clearly missed the point which is the banglas won’t serve up a pitch even remotely similar to that deck.

Sheffield Shield once again a crucial battleground for Test spots

Yes, but on a wicket sporting fair bit of green grass. You expecting green tops in Banglesdesh mate? Think again…

Impeach Langer!!!

Peter Siddle: Another conservative candidate wins shock election

Except that there was more than “zero evidence” of Grandomme hitting the ball. There was a spike on snicko, mind you..

Australia in control despite Josh Hazlewood's injury

“Conclusive evidence to overturn the original decision” (the 3rd umpire says it better)
And when there’s doubt the original call stays.. Simple as

Nope

Is Siddle set to play in the Boxing Day Test?

When the third umpire’s called the benefit(s) of doubt will always go to the on field calls by default. That’s the rule and don’t think exceptions/rare examples disprove it.. Like I said, the DRS has been put in place to help eradicate absolute howlers not dictate on marginal or controversial on field calls..

Australia in control despite Josh Hazlewood's injury

DRS is there to only eliminate absolute howlers. Not sure if you’re aware of it.

If it really popped out, he ain’t playing on Saturday..

No surprises as Australia make just one change to Test squad for New Zealand series

archer doesn’t leak runs. I’m sorry but I feel like archer deserved a bit more respect…

Why Starc should stick to white-ball cricket

Mate, you ain’t getting your money back then. Khawaja is horribly out of form. Hasn’t had a fifty in three games.

What will Australia A be playing for in Perth?

Starc was equally horrible vs SL at the gabba last summer. So, I’d go with richardson as the 3rd seamer for the 1st test.

Australia's Test opening candidates are not stepping up

top that off with the fact harris looks horrible against decent spinners

Australia's Test opening candidates are not stepping up

“Khawaja has yet to demonstrate he can handle conditions on the subcontinent”
well, he did perform against a quality India A side in 2018 (a month prior to the series in UAE). Please don’t tell me Ravikumar Samarth,Krishnappa Gowtham, Kuldeep Yadav aren’t good enough ‘cuz they clearly are. K. Gowtham (offie) has already been dubbed “Ashwin’s successor”. And I think a score of 127 when your team’s bowled out for 243 is significant enough to catch anyone’s attention. He then backed it up with a classy 40 in the second innings. Aus A won the game by 98 runs.

Warner and Pucovski ton up in Sheffield Shield

I’d go with khawaja keeping in mind the test series in bangladesh next year. Or Renshaw if he scores a couple of tons as you’ve mentioned.

Warner and Pucovski ton up in Sheffield Shield

I’d swap faulkner with jhye richardson. Jhye provides better control, and you don’t really need two lefties in the XI.

Warner, Smith lead Aussie T20 Cup charge

Burns is a natural stroke maker, and having watched him closely I do think he does struggle against the moving ball. He bats on middle-leg and doesn’t fully cover the stumps whilst leaving and often gets enticed into following the fullish out swingers with his hands. But I do think once he gets in he scores big. Labuschagne, on the other hand, is a good leaver as we’ve witnessed throughout the recently concluded Ashes series. So, I’d try burns at 6 and see how he goes. Labu, without a shadow of doubt, loves the new ball. I’m not dropping him down the the order.

Wade ready for Test cricket speculation

Smith too needs to show that he has what it takes to be a good shield player. His average is just… a little too high and too intimidating.

What we learnt from Australia retaining the Ashes

I’d have warner-khawaja as openers and play burns at 6.

What we learnt from Australia retaining the Ashes

marnus can bat anywhere

Usman Khawaja axed for fourth Ashes Test

I’d love to see a head coming off… youtube doesn’t show those stuffs and I’m not mature enough to use the Internet properly. HERE’S HOPING smelly MARSH GETS PICKED!!!!

Mitch Marsh Ashes recall would be farcical

Khawaja bats at 3, labu at 4

Khawaja and Harris post 50s in Ashes shoot-out

Wade sucks against the turning ball. No way I’m playing that crap against any subcontinent nation.
