I can’t do much in terms of determining what they show on TV. However, if you can access it, the Olympics On 7 application/website has the events that are not on TV live. If enough data is received through this survey, which is really unlikely at this point, another article can be written stating which events are the most popular. If Channel 7 read that article, it might give them a better idea on what to televise. Based on the few survey results I have already received, the aerials are one of the most popular events but skating is one of the least popular sports.

The ‘State Of The Game: Test Cricket’ survey results were not published due to a lack of data.

That figure might not be 100% accurate as it was difficult trying to find the correct capacity of stadiums when under redevelopment but in any case, a popular event (such as ‘The Ashes’) held in an small venue should see a higher ‘atmosphere’ as the capacity would be close to being full. So if my guess on capacity is wrong, it is highly likely that Adelaide’s ‘atmosphere’ during the 2013/2014 ‘Ashes’ series would have been even higher.

Test cricket still has a pulse

No – 2006 is not a typo.

State of the Game: NRL results (Part 4)

Out of all the survey respondents (including non-NRL followers), Broncos fans made up 16% (40 people) of the survey respondents. Also, looking at the survey responses, only 3 Brisbane fans said they like to see a 2nd Brisbane team as their 1st expansion team choice – that’s 8% of all Brisbane fans – so self interest might be a possibility or a 2nd Brisbane team is a 2nd (or later) expansion team choice.

I was surprised too by that. I am guessing that people want teams to play at suburban grounds but they want their suburban grounds upgraded to an all-seater stadium.

State of the Game: NRL results (Part 2)

I cannot do a Perth survey to see if they want an NRL team because I am not from Perth, I cannot control where survey respondents come from on ‘The Roar’ and lastly, because ‘The Roar’ probably will have issues regarding privacy.
