I believe the Roosters are a very strong chance to win this regardless of the conditions for the following reason.

When it comes to horses for courses Ashley Klein is on a 8 match winning streak if the Roosters beat The Raiders tomorrow.

The last time the Roosters lost a game where Klein officiated was in R8 2018 v Dragons in the Charity Shield.
In the 7 games since then where Klein was the ref the Roosters have won all which included the semi and GF last year.

Since the 2018 semi Roosters v Souths and GF v Storm Ashley Klein has in 2019 officiated in 3 crucial Rooster games (v Broncos R4, v Storm R6 and v Knights R18 after the Knights beat them in R 11).
The Roosters won all 5.
In the 10 games the Roosters have lost since R8 2018, Ashley Klein has not officiated in any of them.

I am not accusing Ashley Klein of cheating or exercising deliberate bias but it just may simply be an amazing case of coincidence regarding this streak and that his appointment as ref is in crucial games for the Roosters with tomorrow’s game against The Raiders no exception.

Now that we are once again nearing the business end of the competition my curiosity will be focussed on which of the Rooster games Klein will be appointed and if this winning streak currently at 7 becomes 8 tomorrow.

I will be watching with keen interest for the next time the Roosters lose a game where Ashley Klein is behind the whistle.

If the Roosters were a race horse and Ashley Klein was a jockey the form would read very well for this horse to make it 8 straight with this jockey in the saddle.

Sore loser. Penrith the better side for 90% of the game.

Rugby league's demand for consistency means rugby league is consistently wrong

If you are into formlines statistics here is one for you.
When was the last time the Roosters lost a game when Ashley Klein officiated?
You might be amazed.

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 21

Might explain why the roosters struggle with memberships.
Not much respect for a club with no juniors that sits back and poaches good up and comers that have nurtured as juniors at other clubs.

Kyle Flanagan officially signed by Roosters

It was a great hit but pleeeaaasse.
There are 20 like that every round.

Before origin they were 10 and 1 and then the worst draw and injuries during origin took its toll.
Full rosster almost complete and with James Robert’s and Jaydn Su’A just signed all is looking good at Redfern.

Yes , I’m sure it was him waiting outside Fox Studios for Kenty to get his autograph.

Paul Kent accuses South Sydney of more lies following Dane Gagai rumours

Give Kenty a break.
The poor bloke is a failed league player, a wannabe boxer and now doing his best to pay the bills as a journo.
Getting grumpier every year l believe partly because he’s not getting much right.

But as you can see on here, Paul Kent has a few admirers who consider him a quality journo with the like.

So Paul Mr Hyperventilator Kent is accusing Souths of more lies. And?
A quality journalist would take the comments as they are and simply state that time will reveal how this will pan out. Simple.
Credit to James Hooper for showing him up as a b grade journo.

They dont have to.
Sam will probably have $1600 tucked away for a compliment repay for Latrell if you recall R1 unless Latrell has already announced will be at Souths next year.

So when Latrell was fined $1600 for almost breaking Sam’s jaw in R1 that was ok apparantly.

Respect for your coach is paramount.
When Fittler reneged on his biggest principle in only selecting players based on form many feel he lost a lot of respect from several of the core group.
