this game was a case of coaches meeting the ref and asking to officiate for penalties they feel will help them win nice try boks ………….all teams look for an edge I felt boks wanted the game to be reffed to suit what they wanted to do kick and bore us to death ……..
the rotation policy that we hate to her about will work better for the abs with better players coming into the squad to ensure we stay fresh for the last game…….the travel factor will always play a big part of this very long tournament lucky for us we aren’t too far away for aussieland the boks looked tied against the wallabies but against us they looked out of ideas and I wouldn’t be surprised if we put 50 on the boks come Saturday ….

Boks coach bemoans 'bounce of the ball' as youngster's massive play secures All Blacks win

I guess the wallabies deserve the right to lose 3-0 or 2-1 I mean its only fair right????…….
it’s obviously about money now not rugby and the all backs choose to go with player welfare as they don’t need to appease anyone its about making sure families stay together and safe in their bubbles during this lock down …..

'We're comfortable': NZR boss defends Bledisloe no-show in face of Australia's 'emotion'

rich words from this guy ….“I think that given the public appetite for rugby and the responsibility that players have … it’s disappointing that not all teams are sharing the load.”….
responsibility to the public ? so Andrew has never left a AB tour for the birth of a child or delayed joining the AB setup because of ” family reasons”?…….
this guys amazing acting like ABs and their lives belong to the public nah mate the families who will be stuck without support because their partners locked down in Perth for what reason I mean the wallabies losing 3-0 or 2-1 is Aussie appetite for rugby????/
weird logic …..all blacks made the right call its a pandemic ask these poor families in Sydney if rugby the first thing on their minds right now ……

'It's a real shame': Mehrtens 'disappointed' with NZR in Bledisloe 3 'circus'

Great read nick always insightful…………
it looks too me that one team is training its squad to be elite rugby players and the other is trying to be superior decision makers ……….
watching the super rugby this year it just highlighted nz rugby approach as each team aimed up better against their Aussie rivals straight out the gate it was win win win until they got tired and Aussie teams won a few before a kiwi final …….
selection for the kiwis meant that they were choosing from a pool of players who were winning against a weaker Aussie conference …
this in turn meant that in the all black camp it was more about fine tuning skills , targeting weak players and their bad habits already possessing the skills to execute ….
unfortunately for the wallabies choosing from players who were being routinely beaten by their superior kiwi opposition’s meant they went into camp looking for ideas a game plan something to more speed more grunt more heart …..
but as we all witnessed no composure meant no chance of winning because each mistake meant trying harder and harder opening up the game to a team that love it like that …..

Why the Wallabies are still looking for fool’s gold

Big fan of yours Geoff 100% spot on most of the time but his here im not sure you get whats happening out here ….
“The rest of you can give Parramatta a call or jog along and play rugby league, go to church, do graffiti, or whatever else it is people like to do out there, wherever it is you are.’
This here is why the Aussie public will never get why is islanders play professional sport boxing mixed martial arts rugby or league …..
its about money and making the most you can manage with that small window of opportunity you have for you’re family and you’re future…..
The church is what binds our community its the substitute for the village life our parents lest behind for a better future …… doing graffiti is art for talented misguided youth so nothing to do with poverty …….
Once again big fan but understand loyalty snd money are two different things but only one pays the bills ….

The Wrap: Something is rotten in Australian rugby and it’s not the Wallabies

great game again from the boys in black……….. the lack of execution from the wallabies is why the gap is where the wallabies are at .. both had the same time to prepare the abs improved on the 2nd half subs with both Barretts making a better impact than last week papalii more direct abs over the ball more….. the wallabies had a massive improvement in the scrum and didn’t use that advantage at not sure film sessions are the go for the wallabies because they went worse in everything else …..
wallabies better chance to beat the boks ……

REACTION: 'Like wrestling a pig in mud' as All Blacks make Wallabies pay for 'chaos style' rugby

Great win for the boys……..
Although sam canes performance was mercurial i would of still went for ioane for MOTM…..
I see it as Sam’s efforts allowed the ABs to stay in the game for long periods which contributed to the ABs not losing…..
Ioanes linebreaks , tries help change the flow of the game , you could see the fight drain from the Welsh boys as they changed tactics pushing passes ,playing fast and so on …..
So yes well deserved MOTM as good as defence was we had to be in front as leaving 50/50 penalties out there with this ref ? No thanks

All Blacks beat Wales to end tour unbeaten

Commiserations harry and the rest of the bokke faithful……

I did ask you why you didnt rate this cosch who came agonisingly close to beating the ABs ….

I guess you were correct in picking that performance as a one off aberration…….and this performance was really the true colours….

No joy in seeeing this happen hopefully if anything positive to come out of this it would unite the playing group and the senoir group who i have gained a lot of respect for……

Is Allister Coetzee the worst Springbok coach in history?

Great article Geoff ,,
It was always going to be a bridge too far for the ABs as the wallabies always lift at home and anytime any team line up against the ABs there is no “dead rubber ” its a test and was played brilliantly by the wallabies……..

Ill have to also agree with jeznez who commented on how the dane coles and to a lesser extent Aaron Smith off the ball niggle was in my opiinion the catalyst to our demise ……..

In a game so tight getting personal and settling scores off the ball was only fuelling the belief of the wallabies , who could see they were getting under our skin as things we wanted to do weren’t going our way …..

When being a leader amongst young men is required when it gets hot in the kitchen and youn have a host of new faces the last thing you want to do is get to personal, but this is exactly what our mate coles and smith did……

It set the tone as guys were lookingnfor the next big hit …… young guys following young guys no good result …..

We also tried to rip the ball too much as tackles weren’t being effected just glory plays and no clear thinking ……and we payed formit as the wallabies ajusted and went for goodmleg driving running power rugby done well……..

Hope we leaarn and be better disciplined as it may be a long tour of showing off with no results

The Wrap: Lions, Tigers and tape herald the Wallabies' coming of age

If you cast your mind back to the world cup final you would have realized how ineffective hooper and pocoock were as a combination –
-line out was a shambles as both were too small and thier main targets were doubble teamed
– scrum was depowered and just bearly held on
– all blacks ran traffic down the short side negating their potential pilfering gameplan
-did not have ball playing forwards in tight / malling ability came up short

So in all bad idea

As bad as a coach cheika is he has at least learnt that to beat thd all blacks you need the full package at 6 not stopgap ideas as they end always in tears

Chieka must play Hooper at six

Take note Taylorman and still missit eveyone on this thread is blaming foley the so called iceman for the loss but none are pionting out his ethnicity as a reason why he crumbled under preasure and left 9 points out there…….. was heartly penny better than folau? In terms of involvement and efficiency??……Of course not but wallaby suppoters seem to think he would be a better fullback than folau? ……. when will you wannabe know it all stop blaming folau for youre loses as hes an easy target and see the talent he has to work with as a reason for the dysfunctional backline and not his ethnicity………
Both teams had great performances by its islander contingent so what are you going to blame them for this time?
Best coach in the world has faith in islanders why cant you guys?

Highlights: Wallabies blow their big chance to win Bledisloe 2

So typical of armchair critics dont rate folau but who else is there ……. plenty of outside backs in Australia have had a whole season of super rugby to dethrone folau but its obvious there is no one else close to his skill and ability so the premise of this article is to use folau as a scapegoat…..

Has the rugby public gone cold on Folau?

Lets face it you come froma posiiton of power and privilege
You probably can’t see why it would be a problem taking a moral high ground labeling pacific islanders as some what dim whitted and naive for having god as a foundation of their country, village and personal life……but i emplore you to look at poverty and struggle and know that they have to believe and have faith that one day they may live and provide as has been given to you and you may provide if you choose for others ……
Beig athiest is a choice and one you can freely express and know there’s alot of those who have made the same choice no problem wih me its very height of intelligence to have opposition in all things …….
But being coloured or black and vilified is not
Are you brave enough to add this comment or is it too true

On the game they play in heaven

Clyde surely a balanced article needs opposition in all things?
Or just you’re veiws?

On the game they play in heaven
