This was a tragedy of epic proportions. It does not matter whether we missed shots in the last quarter or not – we got ripped off and it has taken away any chance that we had of playing finals. One decision by a person who had ONE JOB and could not do it properly, has cost our whole season. Even the AFL CEO has now come out and admitted it was a failure and has stood down the goal umpire – but the result of the match has not been changed! This is a terrible situation and just shows how weak the AFL is when it comes to doing the right thing. Sydney should have this match taken away from them.

We need Nathan Basset – he was a brilliant player, a great coach at Norwood and has had AFL supporting coaching roles with other teams, and he needs to come home!
I am quite disgusted that a lot of our really good players seem to be leaving. Is there no such thing as commitment and loyalty anymore. We have lost so many players over the past few years that we have put the time and effort into – and we get nothing for it. Dangerfield, Davis, Cameron, Henderson, Gunston, Lever – the list goes on and on…….
I now hear that Ellis-Yolmen is going along with Keath, Jenkins, possibly Greenwood, Betts and maybe even the Crouches!! Bloody hell there won’t be any team left soon. I’m sick of this.
