Perhaps my club was the “only” club to receive free Suns memberships. The fairy tale is you not knowing the AFL has fudged memberships . I haven’t seen a packed out Metricon stadium( for a Suns game anyhow)

Pretty much all sth east Queensland’s junior AFL players get a Free Suns membership. Does that count in the 19,000?

Foothold on? How’s the Gc Titans supporter base / membership going? It’s a different Town in Gc. Not that many born there

Not enough “Locals” at the GC that would continuously support the side. Tourist town. Majority are NRL or already sold on an AFL team before they became a permanent tourist.

The AFL is a business. They took a punt on the Gold Coast. (Fail). A Tasmanian team would have been more successful in wins and financial success by this stage. I can understand the punt in trying to expand in Qld. Unfortunately it came at the expense of an AFL loving state
