Surely you jest?

The Boks and All Blacks should try again

The worse performance before this one was 2019 semi-final in Japan. Close finishers for worst game were the games last year, losing to Australia and Argentina

The Boks and All Blacks should try again

If your support of the Wallabies is tied to whether they can beat the All Blacks then its fragile. Your team played excellent running rugby and deservedly are now number 3 in world rankings. One step at a time. You may be the world’s number one team before you are driving your new nuclear subs.

The Wrap: Wallabies rocket ahead while the Springboks are lost in space

Tate McDermott is a real find for the Wallabies. An intuitive player that you could build a great team around. Wallaby forwards did compete well in set play and worked hard in the loose. Yes another thrashing but a number of positives showing up. I predict that the Wallabies will be competitive against the Bok.

Wallabies lament 'Groundhog Day' loss

If you want we could go through the game and pick apart every decision and every infringement missed. A number of hits too high not called against Wallabies. However too many penalties where AB,s discipline was sadly lacking which kept Wallabies in game. Also kicking for goal rather for corner and chance of 7 sadly shows how feeble the AB,s have become.

'He broke Australian hearts:' Mo'unga masterclass powers All Blacks to Bledisloe 1 win

I agree. Australians should go off and do what they do best which is….? They should not play against New Zealand teams at any level in rugby. TT and the Bledisloe needs to end.

How to fix Australian rugby's trans-Tasman problem

I agree that Australian rugby is below par. To continue to play against kiwi teams will not help either NZ rugby or Australian rugby. The TT needs to end as does the Bledisloe. NZ needs to find a fresh challenge for our Super teams. Perhaps the approach would be to bring in tier two national teams to tour and play our super teams alongside a domestic competition. For example, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga tour NZ and play our super teams building up to NZ Maori and then ABs.
For the ABs, bring in tour system with either 3 games against, for example France, England, Scotland or South Africa with a mini tour to another tier one country afterwards. No point in playing Australia given the dire state it is in.

How to fix Australian rugby's trans-Tasman problem

Despite the result and the obfuscation in relation to the tackle rules, I have not seen a comment on the great show of sportsmanship by Kerevi once he was penalised for the fend. He went up to Patchell and acknowledged the action. A class act from a class player.
In the second half I saw some fantastic play from the Wallabies and the game was compelling viewing right up until Cheika was interviewed.

The Wallabies didn't lose because of Romain Poite, but World Rugby, we do have a problem

You are wrong!

Hands off our haka

Except the QC played rugby well into his 40’s and is passionate about the game.

More World Cup fan angst to come as farcical Hodge suspension sinks in

The only person saying its a horrible place is you scrum.

Where does the fault thing come from?? Just because an Australian moves to the UK for better opportunities does not make it the UKs fault.
Get a grip mate. New Zealanders live in many parts of the world as do Australians. Its called globalisation.
Also its amazing that you have had the ability to talk to all 4.5 million and get the idea that non of them respect Australia. Could it possibly be your victim mentality that makes Kiwis be put off by you.
As for respect, many Kiwis have family who are Australians. They are whanau and we always respect them. The only aussies we might have an issue with are those who think we must be on bended knee whenever they grace us with their appearance.

No one is asking you to watch it. Perhaps your team enjoy accepting the challenge by doing so.

Scrum, you are right it is pretty obvious who is getting the better deal. Australia is. We train our young folk and they head to Australia for better pay and more opportunities in a larger economy. They pay their taxes in Australia and contribute to their adopted community. Four Australian banks reap billions of dollars in profits from NZ.
When Australia need skilled people they advertise in NZ.
It is true we take the p@#s out of you when we can. We are not going to be obsequious just because you are a larger country than us. Unlike perhaps the Aussie approach to the USA.

Hands off our haka

Obviously Australia is getting the better deal scrum. Because of larger economy and population there are greater opportunities for qualified Kiwis to get higher paid positions in Australia. We train the people and they work in Australia, pay taxes in Australia and contribute to your economy. Four of your banks pull billions of dollars in profit from NZ.
Yes we take the piss out of Australia when we can but maybe you need to harden up a little.
And while Australia has a lot to offer, Kiwis contribute a great deal to Australia when they move there. Its like all the Australians who work and live overseas in places like England and the USA. It doesn’t mean Australians cant have an adverse opinion about those places unless of course you are obsequious by nature.

Hands off our haka

Because the national rugby team represents the country

Nicely put Gloria, from some random Kiwi.

Corne, I was impressed with the Boks. In the first 15 minutes they were lethal and had the ABs well and truly discombobulated. Second half they maintained the pressure and weren’t that far away with 15 to go. They will get better as they play on. Some fantastic talent on display.

All Blacks scrape past Springboks in Rugby World Cup clash

I am also very proud of the fact that we got as close as we did. Full credit to England and fantastic win for them. But also full credit to the black caps. I did not give us a chance of defending 241 and the fact that we came so close is down to their skills and determination.
