I’d have Hannigan in my squad but not in a match day 22. Bell if healthy and Holloway would make my match day 22.
No Jorgenson, Swinton, Gamble, Gordon, Marky mark, Perese or Pietch (can see an argument for him in a squad though).

Super Rugby shows that the Bledisloe Cup isn't going anywhere - one selection could give the Wallabies hope

I wish I could change my font to comic sands

and who would to “best tah” forwards be and then explain to the rest of us just how dominate they have been to deserve going anywhere near a test side.

While the props have and are an issue, our forwards issues come down to selections across the board vs just picking on the props.
What separates the Kiwi forwards mentioned in the article (Retallick, Whitelock, Ardi, Barrett) and a few others is the brains behind those blokes. They are all smart footballers. For too long Australian coaches have been obsessed with matching the opposition with size and power. Rennie talked about “bending the line” and “winning the collision”. How about we start picking footballers who can put themselves in the right positions to be effective vs someone who is just there because they are bigger then the next bloke in line for a test jersey.

That sounds like an idea once floated… I believe some people calling something like an NRC or ARC.
Could have been great but you would need their support.

The Wrap: Rebels young gun rockets out of Wallabies contention, and why Samipeni Finau's 'brutal' hit on Edmed was fair game

Are we at the point where Twiggy buys the whole thing (for a cents on the $ evaluation) and runs it properly or do we have to wait one more year?

Rugby Australia's debts blow out to almost $89 million after draw-down of PEP facility

I’m the biggest reds fan out there… if they do start to move to the Irish model I’d 100% check out. Not just from the reds but from Australian rugby all together.

That is my fear… the rebels fold and all of a sudden every wallaby at the Tahs is now in baby blue. Not a fear because they will suddenly become the best team but because that is not how a free market sports market should work. Look at the Irish system with everything Leinster focused. Not fair the the rest of the fans.

Hahahaha… “Tahs are where RA want them to be”. 2nd last on the table with the most over paid player in Australia (Jorgensen) and another coming in on more coin to help them get I even more financial trouble.

I know i know….I broke my cardinal rule of bring facts to the comments section.

Tahs can’t do anything with one team… split them into 3 and they will drown.

Riddle me this Batman… how can RA justify saying they cant waste money on a money Pitt of a franchise when talking about the rebels and allow the Tahs off the hook?
The Rebels have a PE solution to keep them afloat while the Tahs just sit at the bottom of the table draining the funds of RA. I don’t want to see any team cut but if you are using the financial excuse you must send the Tahs packing.

Tell me Mirt… how does a drain laugh?

Yep… but the next feed was identical. So were about 5 before and 5 after.
Poor consistency from the ref IMO because if that is the call you are going to make you might as well be cracking down on the crooked feeds too.

She might be in trouble for that…. Maybe if she dropped a couple of head butts she could get off lightly.

Which is fine but you have to call the very next feed which was exactly the same.
I have no beef with any ref ever making those calls. In fact I want straight feeds and all those fine details… but I also want the ref to call them all and not just one random call.

Holloway…

'Run-on debut like no other': Junior Wallabies flyer announces himself to the world after stunning hat-trick

Yep…. But wings like Toole 100% have a place at test level. Personally I think it would be better to have him in the wallabies than any other wing.

No… can’t do that

'Run-on debut like no other': Junior Wallabies flyer announces himself to the world after stunning hat-trick

What else do the Bok wings do and they are considered world class? The answer is nothing. They built a 10, 12, & 15 backline to compensate for two guys who can’t do much else but turn defenders inside out. And let me tell you a secret… they won the last 2 would cups .

Spot on Peter. It was a great run on debut but he has a lot to prove and a long way to go before I will put him In and class with Toole.
