Oh Natalie you’re saying 160 million dollars to fund the nrl for 1/3 season were did you get these figures RA will be well imbursed..the point im making is that rugby does a lot more for their international game than league does and their international teams are not stacked with Aussie and English players the majority are home grown grass roots level the IRB put so much resources and financial assistance to grow the game world wide thats my point Natalie….

Biggest issue with league it is not a global game like their cousins Rugby the IRB spend a lot of time and money developing their game. Looking at the teams lining up in the France Rugby World Cup this year all the teams have very strong domestic comps not countries filled with NRL players in league World Cup held recently…the ticket sales already have reached 2.5 million, profit expected 80 million pounds alot of this money is spread around to all the participating nations and of cause French rugby board FFRB and last but not least the IRB and developing nations. If league wants the game to develop internationally it needs to think outside the NRL and Super league box and support developing nations otherwise international league will just fade away.
