So Sticky saying his team deserved the penalties was deflecting from a disgraceful performance? He admitted his team was bad but his argument was that there was no way the Titans were that clean and its very well justified and you would see this if you can get over your obvious grudge against Sticky.

So in your world one cant question the performance of a referee? If you think the refs had no hand in the come back of the Titans i would suggest you stick to Soccer. If everyone took your advice last year and keep quiet about refs, we would still be seeing all those rubbish obstruction calls.

I knew all the haters were gonna run there mouths at this, Ricky took the thrashing on the chin by the Roosters and admitted they were not good enough but there is no way he should do the same for last nights game. Its no surprise the Tigers coach complained about the same refs lop sided penalty count last week and Sticky has admitted his players were ill disciplined but said there was no way the Titans were that clean and i agree. If you think Sticky is just whinging and hes arguments are not justified maybe you should get you your eyes checked or learn the rules of our game.

Why does Pearce get as chance to develop while others have been dropped alot quicker and for less? Why are we discussing the 5/8th position when both Soward and Carney did more to earn there spots than Pearce did. Pearce has a weak mentality and i cant bring myself to watch game 3’s last quarter of last year again cause i get infuriated watching Pearce hiding while our structure in attack falls apart, we were a rudderless ship and it took an injured/concussed Farrah to create something for us to level the scores. Junior – You are a sensitive type, he wasnt taking shots at Rugby but merely pointing out that SBW will need to get used to the intensity of the games pace. League players require more fitness than Rugby players (not saying they are though) cause Rugby according to the IRB stats say the average time in play is around 40mins where league would be up around 60 to 70min mark. SBW would have had to twice as much work than he did at Rugby and his tackle count proves it. Please stop acting like Rugby fans have the moral high ground cause i am sick of hearing the rubbish that comes out of there mouth regarding League, you just have to take a look in the Roars Rugby section when a subject of comparison to League comes up.I am a huge Rugby fan and grew up with my family being fanatics and played for Randwick juniors so naturally i am surrounded by Ruggers, and let me tell you, League fans dont hold a candle compared to the bickering of the rugger fans. I have played both codes at a relatively competitive level with Randwick and Zone schoolboys for Rugby and Harold Mathews with South Sydney juniors for League and let me tell you that League required much more fitness and had way more intensity.

Six- Mate the NRL just secured a Billion dollar deal, they continue to set the tv rating records and all up the game is in the best shape its ever been, so im prettty sure there is no jealousy there. Alot of Rugby fans are always quick to point out the “International” aspect of the game because the domestic game is a complete joke. A League Fullback needs to be a 3rd playmaker that chimes in and out to keep the defense guessing, so unless Ione has a good play making game i would suggest Beale is better suited to FB and Ione on the wing as a power runner that works the ball away from the 20m line. The way Beale beats his man laterally is perfect for a League FB executing a play.

Johnno i agree with alot of ur comments but i strongly disagree with ur comments regarding Phipps having some good games. The best game he had was against England, but one line break doesnt make up for one of the poorest halfback performances in a Wallaby jersey in a long time. Even in the England game he squandered a couple of opportunities for tries with front foot ball.

The IRB might have more money but once divided among all its many nations, it will come short compared to the NRL. I always thought the Brumbies had to be careful who they recruit from the NRL after Bedsy and i think they done well with Smith. Bazza why would u hold younger rugby fans knowledge against him? If more dinosaurs like yourself keep criticising younger fans knowledge of the game, potential new rugby fans would be too intimidated to share there opiions on the sport. If 25years is juvenile, what the hell will you think of the new fans should the ARU grow n expand. If i was a Parra player i would be applauding my coach for helping take the heat off a terrible performance and im sure you would also. In the end of the day he came out and said to the media that his team was poor and the penalties against his team were justified and if you agree with his method or not, the refs will take a different approach and incorporate some consistency into there calls.
You obviously have a grudge against him as a coach and i dont think its a coincidence you conveniently left out or written an article regarding the Tigers coach taking the same approach.
