No modern day Brit has got anything to do with the empire, they’re just living out their lives in their country just like their ancestors have done for thousands of years before them, why should they have a wounded sense of nationalism because of what went on hundreds of years before they were born? Do white Australians who’s ancestors actually were the colonists have a wounded sense of nationalism? I find it interesting how some types like to separate themselves from who they believe to be the perpetrators of colonialism.
