If the NRL are serious about protecting refs, they should have thrown the book at Reece Walsh
If the NRL want respect they need to behave like a professional organistion that commands respect. They’ve become pretty much innept at almost every level over the past couple of years with ever increasing poor officiating to wishy washy management more intent on moving games to gambling epicentres than looking after fans. Get better referees, management and judiciary…..

Don’t forget that great QLD breeding ground for RL talen like Port Moresby or Orange NSW. Didn’t effect how those guys played. They certainly have plenty of passion for a state other than their own.

I doubt there’s a QLDer that could actually explain with any purpose what that statement actually means. NSW have just as much passion as any other state. QLD players (and the NSW players they pick) are just better and probably alround tougher than ours.

Absolutely not, NSW need a coach not a PR stunt to get it right. A battle hrdened week in week out NRL coach that knows the value ot picking in form players in their position. Not their Roosters / Panthers mates that dissapear when the going gets tough.

NSWRL have lost the fans at every level. I’ve watched this concept from inception and I’ve not witness a more gutless performance from a group of players, coaches or selectors. Bums just turning up for the cash that have zero pride in their origin….
