sorry ..but Pace Bowling is not a problem for Australia…even
if they dont play M Starc,Pat Cummins. They still have the guys who can hit 145+ with the White ball.Few of them Are-Jimmy Pattinson, Sean Abbott, Jhye Richardson, NCN,Jason Beherendroff,Billy Stanlake,Mark Steketee,Joel Paris,kane Richardson, Scott Boland,And Josh Hazlewood(occasionally) . Their main problem is Spin bowling(and batting…) I think they must play Nathan Lyon in every limited over game from now..to make him ready for India..

My XI is pretty much younger than yours. But its promising-Warner,Bancroft,Burns,Smith(C),Marsh(younger one),Head(yes i know he is yet to score a shield ton),Wade(WK),Lyon,Paris,hezlewood,Pattinson.
given both starc and Cummins are unfit to play….i think they should drop starc from longer formet so that he can remain fit until next t20 wc.

With the Test players coming back to states now,i feel the Decision of CA to promote young talent by adding CA XI,in matador cup could get dangerous….just imagine CA Xi’s promising young spinner Mitch Swepson(with just a few grade games under his belt) bowling against the likes of Watson,smith,Maddinson,Henriques in his very first game,to make the things worse lets imagine him bowling to an on-song Glenn Maxwell in his 2nd game vs Vics….i mean this could just deteriorate his confidence…

Ryan Hartwig@ yeah..lack of experience is the major problem for South Australian batting order..Hopefully their young superstars can live upto expectations…my suggestion for batting order-Sam Raphael,Travis Head(C),Tom Cooper,Jake Lehmann,C Ferguson,T Ludeman(WK)Alex Ross,Tom Andrews,Adam Zampa,Kane Richerdson,Gary Putland/Nick winter. reason behind slotting man in form “Ferg” @5 is to provide experience and stability to the middle order.

Yes, i agree! on paper Victorian bushrangers are the strongest side of the Tournament.. but Again i feel they are going to choke..like many other strong looking sides in the world(South Africa,Yorkshire,Melbourne Stars,RCB). In My view the south Australians are the favourites to win this trophy.Given the gorm of Ferg..CLASS of Travis Head ,And promise of Lehmann…they have got enough batting talent..bowling was never a problem for them in any formet..Good luck Redbacks…i m backing you.

inexperienced but Relatively old squad.The very first thing that selectors must realise that the players like Maxwell Mitch Mrash and Pat Cummins are the Future of cricket in Australia and they must play every game from now.And my 2nd point is Players like Shaun Marsh were never good crickets and ain’t going to be.So no point in giving them chances after chances..my xi for 1st test vs Ban==

Aussie odi squad looks pretty much balanced..although i would love to add Chris Lynn and James Faulkner(obviously).Now my squad for 1st odi-

Stoinis must play ,selectors must find a place for him.Because this could be the last chance for him.(given he is 26 ) and Faulkner coming back.

Mitch starc is Not fully fit yet! is he?? maybe not..i think he needs to be rested for the 2nd test..so that we can get a fully fit Mitch for the remaining of Ashes.But he is in the team sheet for the lords test..maybe because Aussies dont have able replacement for him…Aussie Ashes squad of 18 members is consists of many passengers like Cummins,Siddle,watson,and Haddin…All these 4 players are not at their respective best..certainly they are not the best players in. Australia..Jason Behrandroff is certainly in a better shape than a half fit Cummins,siddle is good but not the best ,Abbott would have been a better choice, watson is just A Liability and even James Hopes is a better allrounder than him…Haddin was never a world class player, Wade is a deserving candidate.I think Aussie Selectors should read this comment from an Aussie cricket fan from India.

Don freo@ cummins has the ability of bowling @ 151kph ..and you cant stop sub continent batsmen with just spin or swing..you need atleast 2 bowlers who can bowl 150 ..and mitch starc has been outstanding in odi’s ..so no point in picking him..josh needs consistancy..
..hopfully mitch marsh can be fit for odi’s.get well soon mitch..

MITCH MARSH IS INJURED..for one dayers i think steven smith is the best option for no3..but only in uae..he is a decent spin player.. my squad for wc15-warner,finch,watson/hughes,m clarke,s smith,m marsh,j faulkner,b haddin/m wade(wk),m starc/p cummins,m johnson/j pattinson,lyon/k richardson.
Who to bat at No. 3?
In my opinion, playing Jason Behrendorff in place of Nathan Coulter-Nile would not make any difference. Behrendorff looks ordinary after 6-8 overs, and Aussies must not change their intimidating new ball combination. Kane Richardson would be more than handy in the later stage, he would be an ideal partner for Starc in death overs. You simply can not trust Stoinis to deliver good death-over bowling against quality batting sides like India, England, New-Zealand, West Indies. And that would also allow Cummins to bowl his quota in first 40 overs (the phase where he looks more intimidating). My XI for the next game-
