pretty much buddy, i absolutely loved it over there,canadians are great people,laid back like us ,only downfall was obviously couldnt play footy in winter for obvious reasons so had to play in there summer,catch being games would start at 8am in the morning because they played cricket in the afternoon so every game i played i had a massive hangover,lol

think it was about 8 teams in toronto when i played there up to 13 odd i think now,good to see it has kept growing,yeah they loved the physical contact,think its the ice hockey background,one guy in particular being a canadian was actually a very good player,

I just looked up the definition of COLLIWOBBLES on the internet and it took me to the collingwood football club website in the years 1958 – 1990 . 9 VFL/AFL grand final appearances for the pathetic return of 8 losses and a draw , look im no scribe but that return does not add up to much for me

i actually dont even follow fremantle don freo,i apologise if i caused angst between fremantle supporters ,wasnt my intentions .Just a view on list management decisions, fyfe happens to be the best player in the league so is a good example to use. Side with new coach , young list ,being able to trade future picks ,fyfe being at his peak of his powers about now ,will he play in fremantles next premiership ? No one knows .Again sorry to cause you angst

was just reading a article in here about fyfes chances of a flag is very slim with couple leaving ,new coach young list etc etc he has everything but a flag, should fremantle consider trading him if he wanted to try and win one elsewhere? could be a win win situation for both parties would get a great deal i would have thought ,i dont follow fremantle

agree ,if i recall they started really strong last year,we saw what first year players like walsh rozee etc did last year ,and yes if rankine gets fit and fires watchout,he will be a handful for anyone, kid can play

agree 100 percent jonboy, to me 80 -95 ish was the best period for footy,proper 1 on 1 contests all around the ground,then that flooding was introduced then it became more tactical type coaching to get around it,then all the rule changes,financially never better ,but we will never see the dunstall,modra,kernahan,ablett types again ..that period was pure football that showed all the great skills of our game which is kicking,marking and goals
