By chance do you live close to South Melbourne and have room at your table for 2 more? I can bring a couple of bottles of red.

WALLABIES TEAM: JOC, Tate left OUT of 23 in Rennie's Reds purge, Neville and Porecki to debut as Brumbies dominate

He might have not got or accepted a longer contract. Perhaps banking on a good RWC performance to increase his asking price in rugby or the NRL.

Suli's secret weapon: The man who got Wallabies' World Cup wannabe back on track after post-NRL 'struggles'

Or Nick Berry.

How the Brumbies lost their semi-final ‘State of Origin’ against the Blues

Lynagh – 5/8 & inside centre
Herbert -1/c & o/c
Bourke -FB, Wing and outside centre
Joe Roff – Fb, Wing and outside centre
Horan -1/c and wing in 1 test from memory
Little – mainly in centre & at least 1 test as in centre
Plenty of others covered at least 2-3 positions.

What Rennie said about Suli plan, TT latest, Rodda shock, Hodge and McReight calls and Wallabies' 'point of difference'

Might see a few new Pacific Island players playing for Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika next year plus Australian and New Zealanders back home.

Rugby News: Aussie's US rugby teams LA and Austin banned from playoffs as crisis hits MLR, RTS' big leap forward

I wouldn’t be surprised if Tom Wright moves to fullback next year for the Brumbies.

Rugby News: Mo'unga reveals he's leaving NZ after RWC, Tane's Tahs contract boost, Phipps on the move

I’d agree with your comments about the Red’s and decision making. It’s almost as if they have a game plan and won’t deviate from it, which doesn’t take into account what’s happening on the field. Good players but with JOC no leaders / on the spot decision makers.

ANALYSIS: Are the NSW Waratahs better than the Queensland Reds?

Newcastle which has(a good climate, surfing all year) a struggling NRL team and 2 football teams mid ladder at best. It would be Gold Coast all over again. Are there enough good players for more AFL teams?

BRETT GEEVES: Are the Swans still 'cheating with that bloody academy' - or time to cut them a break?

I think a yellow card and put on ” report” for a closer look and then further action can be taken after the game ( when in doubt).

'Playing too well to leave out': The Wallabies selection headache forced by McReight's great leap forward

Could a contributing factor be that so much time is spent in the gym to strengthen and increase bulk, so naturally big guys just get bigger and naturally smaller guys can only do so much? Therefore more injuries will continue to happen.

Rugby News: Will Harrison's heart-breaking double whammy, Tahs 'abysmal failure of leadership', Frost's change of heart on Japan

The cleanliness of Tokyo streets is not an issue! LOL

Not all 12s are equal from Super Rugby to the Wallabies

I do like the Brumbies combination of 12 &13. Shows the benefit of a backline which is consistent in the 9-15 selection with players who can slot in when needed. Same game plan no matter the selections.

Not all 12s are equal from Super Rugby to the Wallabies

Not the ideal recruit. Might need a few lessons in diplomacy to refute a “rumour”.

Rugby news: Reds rookie ready for Nic White roast, Nadolo calls journo 'gutless pig' over Super return rumour

Last game they had Powell at 1/2 and Matt T at 5/8 who are very experienced SR players and didn’t look to be taking charge . Wells is a good player but I think Matt Phillip might be the player that they need to lead.

The Melbourne Rebels are stuck in a moment they can’t get out of

JC I agree with you. The thing for me is seeing all the SH players in the UK/Europe to earn a bigger buck from these wealthy clubs ( fair enough) which means the wealthy club owners are only interested in their success and buy as many players as possible to achieve their “dream” rather than a nation’s success which is why NH teams struggle in a RWC. France might prove me wrong. It could mean that the rugby supporter in the NH after the next RWC might become disillusioned with the current set up.

Why it's New Zealand, not Australia, that's letting rugby down

'It's horrible': Clarke whacks CA over Langer coaching saga, suggests players are 'pushing their own agenda'

I’d like to see Foketi & Perese.

Analysis: Is Kurtley Beale really the answer to the Wallabies' fullback conundrum?

I read that Walton is out for the season hence the signing of Roberts. I wouldn’t want Beale anywhere near a Super Rugby Team, he could try Japan.

Kurtley's coming home: Inspired by Wallabies return, Beale turns back on French club to chase RWC glory

About time player tantrums at all levels are stopped. Penalise the club as well.

LANGUAGE WARNING: Wallaby sent off for swearing as skipper cheekily tries to get him off the hook

As a gay man I still find his ” christian” views abhorrent. I have gay friends who are “out” in the Christian church and are made to feel welcome.

Rugby World: Folau must 'show values' over 18 months, Coleman's plan to reignite Tahs, SBW's Bok shock

We are playing Wales this weekend. Marler etc play for England. Am I missing something in your comment about who Slipper will have to contend with?

Slipper to lead Wallabies against Wales after Hooper succumbs to injury

We need those two overseas players. Not sure about Arnold, perhaps Latu, no to the others.

'No answers': Only questions and confusion left lingering from Wallabies' loss to England

The WB’s also lost Hodge which is a big loss in terms of his experience and versatility and lost Petaia.

ANALYSIS: So little time to fix so many holes with RWC 2023 rushing at the Wallabies

I don’t think “the referee had it in for the Wallabies” I would think that the referee has shown on previous occasions that he is ( now was) not a referee of international standards.

You aren't imagining it... proof the Wallabies were hard done by

Are you inferring that non Christians and people of no religion are not role models, lacking in standards, have no moral or ethical values? Seriously, you are out of touch and a bigot.

One charge dropped, but De Goey still to face court over New York arrest
