Rhys, agree with a lot. “Lekers” are important so thar discussion can occur. Otherwise, we would only be commenting on decisions already made. You never know, an uproar by the public on a specific issue may actually have some influence on the final decision

Is it time to ditch the Super Rugby trophy for a southern hemisphere tour season?

Thanks. Interesting article. Initially I penciled in Toomua at 10 but he was poor last weekend. JOC wasn’t much better. Jordan P just hasn’t played enough rugby to be seriously considered. To me, you pick the TEAM on form (but with experience an important factor). Right now
9. White
10. Noah
11/14. Koro /Wright
12. Simone
13. Tevita
15. DHP/Banks

JOC and Toomua both bench options only.

Too many Brumbies some will say but my picks are on form (IMO).
Thanks again!

Does Dave Rennie opt for youth or experience in 2020?

So you dump any player once he turns 24 unless he’s in the top bracket. There would be a huge player drain, one we could never recover.

How to fix Australian rugby, Part 2: Reducing operating costs

The “Golden Point” is great although we still didn’t get a result. Reds “Don’t go away” is fair enough but the fact remains they don’t win often. I wonder if the playing if 90 minutes by some guys will impact them over coming weeks (especially Taniella- don’t the Reds have a reserve THP).

Super tiebreaker given thumbs up

Hopefully Bell learnt something from last week. With another 100 scrums he SHOULD be good. High opinion of Swinton. Fearless young bull. Mark N has a long way to go to be even a capable Super winger. Young Harrison is progressing really well at 10. Anyway looking forward to the game. Waratahs by 15.

Waratahs wary of falling victim to the Force

Neither are my team but I hope the Force are very competitive. It was great to see the Tahs step up last week. All I wish for is a fine, close match.

Waratahs wary of falling victim to the Force

Maddocks is good and 15 seems his position. But he has 2 big problems to overcome – DHP and Tom Banks.
