All you who hate on Jerome saying how arrogant and not humble he is.. why don’t you ask that kid who lost his mother and lost his leg in a helicopter crash how Jerome helped him and supported him in that family’s time of crisis or ask all the kids in hospitals that Jerome visits and all those community things he does for people in the local community there is zero arrogance in those things that is pure humbleness.. name one great sports person who didn’t have some sort of perceived arrogance and self belief in themselves. Cronk played with a busted shoulder and was a passenger and could have cost the roosters the grand final yet noone bagged him or his performance for playing busted. The simple fact is Panthers are the greatest team since 1983 the only other side since 1983 to have a shot at a 3peat was the Raiders and yep you guessed who foiled that. The panthers

‘The resume speaks for itself': Luai on the hate, the injury, the faith and why the Panthers are the best of the NRL era

Nicho Hynes needs more then this year’s premiership to cement a place in the very best. He failed dismally with 2 losses in last year’s semi.. there is no doubt teddy, Cleary and Yeo are all ready in that group. Munster is not far behind those 3 and Reynolds could join them if he leads the Broncos to victory

Time to step up: The eight players who can confirm their greatness in the intensity of NRL finals

Totally daft to dock players points but I do think players suspended for 2 weeks should be out of contention after all it is a best and fairest award..

Dally M Medal: Who should win all the awards - Mr Consistency main threat to 'near certainty' Johnson for top honour

Reynolds has missed a few games though which would drop him back

The Panthers winger hands down is the best rookie of the years his impact for the Panthers is phenomenal, played every game safe as houses under the high ball, has never been outplayed by his opposite, runs flat out and the metres he makes is is up there every week. Hands down the rookie of the year. He should be close to one of the wingers of the year

i think the top things to come out of this round is how ricky stuart still has a job…
how the warriors were robbed against the roosters with every decision going the roosters way to say crighton did not mean to dislodge the ball was a disgraceful call and teddy should have been binned…
and staggs should be the nsw centre

NRL Round 6 talking points: Gaps are appearing - so who's a write-off and who's repairable?

i agree with brandy all clubs need to be compensated when they develop juniors. they are the ones who put the time and money into them to develop them. when you look at the systems of other clubs it appears that very few clubs have good junior development and rely on clubs like the panthers broncos and to a lesser extent manly to supply them with good young players that they can build teams around for free.

‘Very disappointing’: Alexander fuming after Dolphins poach Panthers young gun

the windies conquered india without a spinner. that is a pace attack up there with any since 1990

The best South African Test cricket side since apartheid ended

his constant bombardment of starc over 10 years would get him fired in any other workplace for bullying. how conveniantly he forgets that he was dropped for poor form and really he only got back in is because of the establishment because macgila did not deserve to be dropped and to this day he does not forgive waugh. with the way he carries on about starc warne should never of toured india after his first tour. even a part time robo took a 5 for in india

It's time to break our exhausting addiction to 'What Warnie Reckons'

I think labs is better suited to 4 or 5 then batting at 3. 215 runs in 3 digs batting 4 vs 140 in 4 digs batting 3

David Warner can still dominate Test cricket

I think labs is better suited to 4 or 5

I wouldn’t be a Test selector for quids

Back in my day when i was 16 (early 80s) it was zync cream used from off my nose it made the ball swing crazily. I often wondered as almost all players back in that era of zync cream had it on the nose if they did the same

England have no moral high ground over ball tampering

Marsh really must have some awesome pics of hohn and langer. I shook my head at him even making the squad yet alone playing in a test. This rankles as picking a mate so he can say he played and retained the ashes. If i was a betting man i would put my money on cummings facing more balls then marsh.

Dropping Head for Marsh was a mistake

I think they 6 test series back in bradmans day? You would have to think on steve smiths form if he played 5 full tests he would surpasss the dons 970

The XI Australia must pick at the Oval

Roy is perfect example

Usman Khawaja axed for fourth Ashes Test

In a side struggling for runs we drop our 3rd highest contributor makes no sense to me. Sure he has not gone on with it after making starts but he is not far off a big one and is in better form then harris wade and warner

Usman Khawaja axed for fourth Ashes Test

I think gus gould was more responsable for the roosters winning then ricky stuart. The following year when gus stepped aside from being rickys mentor , the roosters went downhill fast and continued down hill untill robinson arrived, stuart did nothing at sharks with a fair roster and untill this year the raiders have under achieved for atleast the 3 seasons prior. I think dean pay has achieved better results with a team of nevilles then stuart has in the last 13 years

Current success of the elite coaches

I think the fact that tests are so jammed together now a days no one has a chance to find form in games in between tests. England have a pretty darn good bowling attack more so when they are playing at home and when bowlers the calibre of broad archer and woakes have faverouble conditions and have the ball on a string as they do now, that makes it even tougher to find form and is when experience is more needed. I would bring in starc as he has a x factor and would also produce some rough for lyons to bowl into.
While patto may be frugal most of his spells in the 3rd test were very poor and he let the pressure off i think both he and cummins got carried away bowling to short in the 2nd dig, just got to look at the example why hazlewood had such success.
To win overseas now is so much togher then ever before.

Aussies need a reshuffle but only one change for fourth Ashes Test

Disagree was not disrespetfull..he just gave a honest answer when put on the spot that he was enjoying a milk shake at the time of hearing the news. What did they want to hear he broke down and cried, he later went on after having time to digest the news what he thought of nb

Legends slam Ponga for 'disrespectful' reaction to Brown sacking

I think ball tracking needs to improve that to me seems way off kilter. Tim pain lbw the other day perfect example bowler wide on crease angling in hits on line of leg stump but ball tracking has it hitting middle of leg stump.

Is technology helping or hindering umpiring?

Stokes could play a bothom like innings he is the dangerman

Australia (almost) retain the Ashes
