Barry mate you totally missed the point. People meet anywhere and in the strangest places. In this case it is obvious the young 17/18 year old woman threw themselves at the 22 and 24 yr old footballers and in their own time in the evening they met up. Do you really think those same young woman would throw themselves at a 50yr old priest? Many men are married to woman 10-15 years younger than themselves. Look mate the bottom line is your wrong and the NRL have proven that by lifting the ban and back paying the footballers for every cent that was wrongly taken from them. Because if they did not, then the Footballers would sue the NRL for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

When they kicked my team Glebe Dirty Reds out of the comp in 1929 Because Souths and Balmain wanted our district and juniors I was Filthy. Not long after as a 10yr old or so my family moved to Paddington and it wasn’t long that I started following the Eastern Suburbs Tri Colours, better known these days as the Sydney Roosters. We really clicked in the mid 30’s with Dave Brown winning 3 comps and two during the war. Many lean years were had until the 70’s but those early years gave us hope for a revival. I will die a beloved Rooster.

DP Shaefer, I beleive you may have missed the fact that under Robo, Sydney have developed and groomed a lot of players who have debuted into the NRL from the Roosters and won premierships from his coaching.
Here is a fozen that came through the lower grades under Robos skilled watch.
Tupou, Mitchell, Matterson, Liu, Evens, Tupounua, Famausilli, Verrills, Butcher, Radley, Manu, Watson, of which 8 are mow premiership winners. Pay or Bennett can’t claim that.

Exactly in Sydney at night it can get down pretty low. This time of year the players are playing in 6-10 degrees. An extra 8 can be distressing. Many teams are beaten by the Townsville climate.

Totally agree Scott. The weather was hot the players bodies were sweating heaps and adapting to the conditions after arriving from the southern cold climate then in a 33 minute window the Sydney Roosters exploded into action scoring 42 unanswered points. This club is the best in the NRL era and is something very special. Robo is a genius.

impossible…..It is a well known fact that Robo is the greatest coach in NRL History. Nobody cam match his magical feats.

Thanks Joel for your kind words. Wasn’t this blown up media overreaction supposed to be that Fonua-Blake was a bad example for our children mot to use the R— word. My point of view is trying to educate the ignorant that the children and many adults have been using that word for decades.
Wouldn’t it be more appropriate if society scorned the F word and the C word higher in the list than the R word? Fairdinkum I’ve seen everything now. There is nothing new under the sun.
Some light on Addin Fonua-Blake's words
Newcastle had enough opportunities to defeat Parra twice in there last game. Not a fan of Mann at 5/8 but with some fine tuning I think Newcastle like Penrith could be nuisance value and at best finish one game short of a grand final. But of coarse anything can happen on the night/Knight.
