Just because a TV producer doesn’t show what happened prior to that doesn’t mean nothing happened. Look Lomani deserved a red and deserves a long suspension. But spare me the St Nic White allusion.

'Insane and total stupidity': Drua have two SENT OFF as Rebels score 33 unanswered points to win again

C’mon he walked up to Nic White in front of the ref and basically shoved him. AND everyone talks about how good ol ‘Innocent Nic’ was badly wronged having not done anything. Yeah right.

Nice way to burnish your legacy when the coach that follows you tanks! That Cheika plays the long game 🙂

Five things we learnt: Why Cheika could be the man to resurrect Tahs, Thor is the new Quade, value of sevens

I used to go to school with Johnny Manenti … five eight in a prop’s body was what we called him 🙂

lol as I was reading the article I was wondering who would make the first reference to QC! You win.

Agree that you can’t really compare Sam Whitelock to QC. One is a serial winner … the other is a serial …

Razor's pursuit of 'hard bastard' Sam Whitelock reveals the ugly truth about the modern All Blacks

I would argue that Australia has always been most successful when it has had a ball player at 12 … a second five eight. Guys like Tim Horan, Michael Lynagh, Michael Hawker, Ken Wright, Brett Papworth etc etc.

Five things we learned: Schmidt's selection headache, Carter's a No.12 wildcard, and $1m Thor must step up

Depends how long it takes to get there too I suppose. Unless you want your 10s spending the season convalescing instead of playing.

And there it is. The first Cooper sighting of the article ????

Five things we learned: Schmidt's selection headache, Carter's a No.12 wildcard, and $1m Thor must step up

Hang on many great first fives have played second five. Daniel Carter, Michael Lynagh … Australia might be able to get the ball to the weapons on the wing instead of just playing crash ball at 12.

Five things we learned: Schmidt's selection headache, Carter's a No.12 wildcard, and $1m Thor must step up

Under promise and over deliver. I like it!

But what about that Masi eh? The first try where he beat Perese without the ball was pure class. Saw Perese rushing out with eyes only for him and not the ball so swerved, caught the ball then scored the try.

Side note: if Perese had kept his eyes up he would have taken an intercept.

Deja vu for Tane as Drua deliver another heart-breaker to under fire Coleman

Watching the Fijian Drua women is such a joy! Absolutely love the game they play and this year it looks like their scrum has added some starch.

These Fijian women are amazing given the hardships they have had to endure over the last few years. Now that is real hunger and mental toughness yet they can still smile, laugh and sing once the game is over. I am absolutely in awe of these strong women.

Agreed. I’m just over the pile on with EJ when there’s so much blame on everyone. Sheeting it all onto EJ means the others get off Scot free and who’s to say it won’t happen again?

'Everything was approved': Eddie hits back at $2.6m RWC budget blow-out, says Wallabies can build team around young gun

All I’m saying is that the HC will always ask for whatever they want/think will make the team better. They don’t sit there every night thinking damn I can’t afford the hyperbaric chamber for Big John this week because we overspent on psychiatrists last week! That’s what management is for.

'Everything was approved': Eddie hits back at $2.6m RWC budget blow-out, says Wallabies can build team around young gun

That’s what management is for not the Head Coach. How many questions about financial management are included in the interview? And what’s the weighting? Will they now outweigh rugby coaching experience?

'Everything was approved': Eddie hits back at $2.6m RWC budget blow-out, says Wallabies can build team around young gun

I love the way everyone goes on as if it’s all caviar and champers at all hours of the day when, quite rightly, it’s the team (coaches, managers, physios etc) saying … blah is injured, we need access to a hyperbaric chamber … and some RA flunky okaying the request.

To think the team was sat down and told you have $X budget for everything you need you can’t spend any more than that is just absurd.

Uru is the thinking man’s forward. Yes he can take a hit up but it’s the subtlety in his game that makes him so good.

Couple of examples from the game: really silky hands; excellent running lines in support ( see the way he changes his running angle when supporting McReight): playing halfback for that try in the second half where he shifted the ball wide really quickly instead of playing pick and go like every other forward would.

Oh and man he has a motor. Not bad as a line out forward too!

McReight masterclass, Uru statement: Reds smash Rebels in Aussie Super Rugby derby

A camp for Super rugby players to learn the basics. And we need an inquiry as to why the Wallabies are so bad? And EJ gets all the blame?

And did you notice the 6 foot five halfback that played quick ball instead of picking and going?

Wow.

Do you think that the stodgy attack these days is due to coaches copying league to beat the league bolstered defence? I mean the 12 takes the settler, the forwards also take the crash ball over the gain line then a plunge over the line.

I prefer the attack of yesteryear with the scissors, bodies in motion and silky hands to get the ball to the wing three quarter (lol)

John Hart’s glorious Athletic Park heroes, how Australia had the last laugh, and could Ireland suffer the same fate?

I disagree. In no way can the style of rugby that Ireland plays compare to NZ in those years … and I think you know it. Two words say it all. Christian Cullen.

Mate I call it out when I see it. What’s that about the standard you walk past is the standard you accept?

Don’t worry I won’t judge you for not calling out anything. It’s the trolls right? Nothing YOU can do about them right?
