Hey all, I am the head of the @rugbybloke page on Instagram which makes regular rugby news updates. And will be working on articles on the Roar as well. I started working on Instagram as I saw there are no major rugby accounts and I wanted to change that as I saw it as an important but forgotten fan area in Australia. I have started adding content around the rugby community as I have a goal of growing rugby in Australia and promoting the game that I love. I also enjoy creative ideas on my account such as edits, predictions, memes and more, so it is a great spot to let your rugby mind flourish. I also work closely with @_scrumbags_ on Instagram who is a fellow creator of great drive and content. He also makes articles on the Roar so probe what he has to offer. Finally, make sure to check out my account to learn more about my goals and to receive rugby content that is quick, detailed and precise. Thanks.

Mate, can you make it any more obvious that you have never been outside of the East Coast of Australia? Yet the numbers in Australia climbing for rugby and with a Lions series and WC, $400 million does sound too bad

Mate have you ever been outside of the east coast of Australia 😂

Harris has gone to the force sadly

Useless what a matching name! That’s gold mate

Looks like it’s on SBS not sure why it appears there when Stan really should have tried to get it

Yeah Harry Johnson-Holmes syndesmosis in the moana games so he probably a month away from full fitness. I have always rated him, hope he get a shot with the wallabies soon.

Schoupp, Fa'amausili called up by Wallabies as Tupou released to make comeback

Not a loss when he added very little to nz rugby. League desperately needs a win, as union has been all over them in the media and they are really trying to push this as a fight back, but yet it is in another country and one that is heavily dominated by union and therefore already has stocks of talent that are better than RTS. If NZ rugby wanted him and he was good enough he would have stayed but he made almost no impact in his union stint. No real harm done

League fires back: RTS abandons All Black dream as resurgent Warriors announce star's return to NRL

Great to see another the schoolboy prospect join the rugby ranks. It good that Aussie sevens are being used as a strong pathway method, and I am excited to see hadley eventually reach the tahs.

Wallabies squad confirmed: Eddie Jones shocks with big name omissions from first training camp

Pretty big so far in the media, they are pushing out stories of him 24/7, and all the big channels have step up on it over the last couple weeks. Hopefully they will give a longer period of time for super rugby as it only gets about a minute in the sport section, since they have gotten so much attention from Eddies stories may realise the large audience there is for rugby.

ANALYSIS: Shifting Frost to back row could lead Rennie to find missing piece of Wallabies puzzle

I think Chrisy forgot about Harry Johnson-Holmes who was in the wallabies Squad for the englishs test and was third string over all before getting injured and missing the wallabies and Australia A games for the year. I know Dave Rennie was spoke highly of him after his staring season especially with such as successful scrum. He would be my pick for the WC

Predicted 2023 RWC squad: 19 forwards, 14 backs and FIVE overseas picks

This guys clearly does not remember what happened a few years ago. A bit short sited! Doesn’t even offer anything different to what was done. Seems a bit lazy.

Good player but is it worth bring him or someone like Skelton or Koroibete back. I’d have have to go with the overseas men

Super Rugby Pacific Transfer Centre: EVERY squad CONFIRMED for 2023 season

I think it is clear that we should grow from Australia. I think by 2025-2027 that time period or just after we get an Australian comp up and going. Everyone in Australia and the world will be watching the world cup and it will be all over the media, we should make sure to capitalise on it.

Start preparing teams in 2025 and launch in 2027.
Teams continuing:
NSW Waratahs
QLD Reds
ACT Brumbies
MLB Rebels
WA Force
FIJI Drua (they are support by Australian organisations so they hopefully will join)

New Teams:
NSW Country
QLD Country or Outer Brisbane

Teams maybe introduced later (within 5 yrs):
NSW Western Sydney
South Australia

And maybe top 4 form Aus and top 4 form NZ could make a end of year comp for best in the pacific?

That would make up 10 by the end. How do we feel?

Why can't Australian rugby go it alone?

Tauakipulu in the game against the drua in the first game of the yr and could not hold the scum and we got 5 plus penalty avgs against the tahs, then form the scrum when down to 6 in the scrum without him and it held, but as we where down a many they where able to score. Well have to see how he goes but he can not have a preform like that again.

Not sure faulkner is up to standard, never made an impact in the games that he was on, and loved a knock on, I think a young prop would be a much better pick if there were injuries to the 4 props above.

Great team. But my switches

AAA for tupou – It like playing kerevi on the bench. Tupou come off make one or two good plays for 25mins why not get more? We want him to get us head, not to rely on him for helping us win from behind.

Holloway for Leota – Leotas big but does use his size as many would like lacks physicality. Goes to ground a little bit too easy for a big body and is slow to get back to rocks to be honest I haven’t seen him run to a rock in defence or attack before. These are all attributes that whole way have so I have them at 6. Plus we could move him into second row if needed.

Will the Wallabies be running up that road, be running up that hill?

We’ll talk about the Hooper and Mcreight battle. But shouldn’t gamble be in the question he was arguably the best player week in week out especially in the most recent Chiefs game. He should be in contention for a wallabies squad call up. I think so!

I thought that it was interesting that three times in the Reds Hurricanes match the ball was knocked down but it was backwards deeming a play on. But on a unlucky bounce however like in the tahs game for Jamie Roberts cost them ten in the bin. Do you believe this is one of the law Australia and world rugby should focus on, due to it’s fine line?

Total agree “Numpty” shows that he is willing to commit and could only help in multiple ways.

Kurtley's coming home: Inspired by Wallabies return, Beale turns back on French club to chase RWC glory

Kurtley would be great back in Oz and especially to the Waratahs and a huge boost in depth. Last year he started slow but by the wales game was easily on man the match level. What is even better is he is willing to play for his countries over the Millions he could earn unlike a number of our over seas stars. It shows drive and is something we all love to see. What a sight it will be seeing you back in the Sky Blue!
