Expiry of Videos

Trying to watch a video that’s disappeared? Wondering why it’s no longer available? There’s a good chance it has expired.

There are a number of reasons why videos on The Roar may become unavailable – the most common reason is they have expired.

Why do videos on The Roar expire?

If the video you were looking for contained vision from a professional league, then it would have expired from the site once it fell outside of the ‘news cycle’.

Such vision appears on The Roar as a news service and by law (see the Copyright Act 1968) can only display while it is relevant to reporting news.

Is there any way to access expired videos?

Once a video has been expired it becomes permanently unavailable.

All videos published on The Roar are done so according to our Video Content Terms and Conditions.
