Chelsea had a fantastic start to their Premier League campaign with a three-nil win away to Huddersfield Town.
N’Golo Kante and Pedro scored for the Blues, while new signing Jorginho got off the mark for his new side via a penalty.
The result allows new manager Maurizio Sarri to put a disappointing Community Shield result against Manchester City behind him as he looks to outdo Antonio Conte.
Cesc Fabregas has a knee injury and won’t feature against his old club, but other than that Sarri has a full squad to choose from.
Sarri’s start to the Premier League was positive, but the same can’t be said for new Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
The Gunners went down 2-nil to Manchester City at home, in a game where Emery surprised pundits with his team selection, playing a weakened side.
Ainslie Maitland-Niles fractured his leg during the game, and he joins Saed Kolasinac on the injury list.
Arsenal, however, can take some positives out of the game. When Alexandre Lacazette and new signing Lucas Torriera came on the pitch they gave the Citizens trouble.
Nacho Monreal is also expected to return to left-back after returning from his break.
Prediction
Chelsea have struggled against Arsenal in the past, and look quite dodgy at the back. Last season they played out a 2-2 thriller at the Emirates, but also drew nil-all at Stamford Bridge. Arsenal’s new back four is far from the level they need to be. If attackers from both sides are firing, we could be in another fun game.
Chelsea 2 – 2 Arsenal
