NHL team mascot gets into ferocious fight with fan
The NHL has a reputation when it comes to fighting. And that reputation apparently extends to its mascots too.
Chicago Blackhawks mascot “Tommy Hawk” became embroiled in a bizarre scuffle with a fan during the Blackhawks 3-4 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.
Though the police report states that the individual who had been working at Tommy Hawk was attacked by a young man, video which has surfaced on social media appears to show the mascot landing several blows of his own during the incident.
The Blackhawks have told media they are continuing to investigate the incident.
