LISTEN: Blues second-rower's wholesome reaction to being named player of the match
Yasmin Clydsdale was caught off guard in the post-match interview of the award.
It seems every Monday morning we’re left listening to someone complain about a decision from the NRL’s Bunker. But it looks like it will be a Thursday morning whinge-fest for those from New South Wales, after Josh Morris was denied a four-pointer.
Morris appeared to have burrowed his way over the Queensland line in what would have seen the Blues go ahead 8-6 with a kick to come.
Furthermore, referee Gerard Sutton thought that was the case, calling a try on-field before sending it to the Bunker for confirmation.

But after reviewing the footage, it was decided that Morris had not crossed the line. Rather, the Bunker was able to zoom in and call the moment when Morris stopped moving forward – with footage that he had not grounded the ball at that point.
The chicken appeared on ANZ Stadium’s big screens, before the red ‘no try’ sign flashed.
The crowd did not appreciate the decision, and it was the last time the Blues came close to breaching Queensland’s line.
