What was thought to be an unlikely spot in the grand final is at stake for the Canberra Raiders as they travel to AAMI Park to take on the Melbourne Storm in the penultimate game of the 2016 season.

The Raiders bounced back from a heartbreaking two-point loss in the first week of the finals with a confidence-boosting win over the Panthers last Saturday.

The Storm, on the other hand, have a had a week off and a chance to freshen up after they snuck past a defiant Cowboys outfit in the first round of the finals two weeks ago.

With the finale edging closer, every footy fan wants to catch all the action of a thrilling finals series. Here’s how you can do it.

Date: Saturday, September 24
Time: 7:40pm (AEST)

How to watch on TV

It used to be that Channel Nine was your go-to place for finals coverage, but Fox Sports has now hopped on board by gaining joint rights for the 2016 finals.

That said, the Nine Network will still have live coverage of the game from 7pm, with 40 minutes of pre-game coverage and a post-match wrap going through to 10pm.

On Foxtel, Fox Sports will begin their pre-game rundown at 6pm on Fox Sports 1, which will take you up to kickoff at 7:40pm.

They also have their own post-game show after the match on the same channel, with the Saturday Night Show starting straight after the game.

How to stream online

If you’ve got a Foxtel subscription with the sports package – which will cost you $50 a month – but can’t get to a TV for the game, you’ll be able to watch the game on Foxtel Play or Foxtel Go. If you don’t have an account, you should be able to get your mitts on a free two-week trial from Foxtel.

The other main option if you’re without a TV is the NRL’s Digital Pass, which shows each and every game of the season. If you’re mad about your rugby league, then the Digital Media Pass also covers a lot of other content which isn’t available on TV.

There is a one-week free trial option, but otherwise, an NRL Digital Pass subscription will cost $2.99 for a week or $89.99 for the annual pass.
