I've been watching the AFL/VFL now for nearly 30 years and this season is shaping up to be the best I have ever witnessed.…
Your argument would make some sense had they not also made the finals in 2010….the year after they got rid of him. They did even better in 2011 too.
Forget Cripps, Curnow and Walsh - the unsung Blues heroes driving Carlton's premiership push
Perhaps he could just lead into space correctly that made the kick easy?
What I do know is, Fev did not make Carlton better. Not one bit.
Forget Cripps, Curnow and Walsh - the unsung Blues heroes driving Carlton's premiership push
I disagree.
Jason Dunstall is a superior forward to Lockett, precisely because he kicked almost as many in a superior side his entire career.
It’s quite easy to kick a lot of goals in a rubbish team. Just ask Richo.
Forget Cripps, Curnow and Walsh - the unsung Blues heroes driving Carlton's premiership push
Fev is one of the reasons Carlton was so useless during his time. At his best was when the Blues were at their worst.
He was a garbage forward.
Forget Cripps, Curnow and Walsh - the unsung Blues heroes driving Carlton's premiership push
Charlie will be disappointed if he doesn’t get well above Fev. Harry, not so much. He’s just okay. Charlie is your man.

Ending behind Fevola is not a decent effort. Par… at best.

Best match of the year so far. Both clubs should be very proud of what they achieved and stood for today.
Well done.
Footy Fix: The best Anzac Day classic since the first one confirms the Pies are back... and the Bombers are for real
Why on Earth would the Pies wanna be at their best at this time of the year, anyway?
Silly article written for the sake of writing something.
Footy Fix: The Pies might have embarrassed Port... but they're still not back to their best. Yet
He’s dead right in that interview the Tribunal regarding why they let him off.
I don’t have a view on whether he should or shouldn’t have been rubbed out. The whole system is a joke as far as I’m concerned.
'Don't interview me': Chris Fagan in tense exchange with journo after defending Cameron's contentious Tribunal escape
lol, he’s dead right.

Tough round of tipping.
You can make an argument for any team winning this round.
The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions, Round 6: Can the Bulldogs bounce back after a week of scrutiny?
I would have been disappointed had Charlie been rubbed out. It’s going to be a ripping game against my boys. A good test with the Lions near full strength and in form.
AFL News: Why Cameron escaped ban for dumping tackle, Blues star hit for six, Dees re-sign fan favourite
I don’t disagree. I just found your article massively disrespectful to one of the all-time great AFL coaches in Sheedy — and I don’t even like the guy. He’s massively annoying.
When Bevo loses the playing group, then I’ll agree with you. He’s generally had an excellent rapport with his players, which isn’t always a given for most coaches and one of Bevo’s strongest assets.
You could see it with McRae instantly. The players love him. In contrast, most of the same players either hated Buckley, or disliked him at best.
Luke Beveridge is on borrowed time - he's an inconsistent coach who gets inconsistent results
He’s still a premiership coach, despite his faults and/or ‘luck’ in finals. They are as rare as hen’s teeth, so I wouldn’t be too fast giving him the boot.
Just my view, so unless a viable alternative arises, the Bulldogs would be best keeping him.
Your ramblings on Sheedy back this up. I don’t remember Essendon doing much since his departure, apart from outdoing Armstrong as the biggest cheat ever… well second biggest cheat, anyway.
Luke Beveridge is on borrowed time - he's an inconsistent coach who gets inconsistent results
Lol… you beat me to it.
UPDATED: Dogs place Liberatore in concussion protocols after scary collapse, but maintain no symptoms
Could be any number of things looking at the incident.
What I am certain of, it wasn’t an ankle collapsing. He collapses at the midriff, causing the instability, along with little attempt to break the fall. All signs of concussion, and/ or any number of medical issues less likely in an elite athlete like Libba.
In other words, he’s lying, along with the club. It’s a fair call by the media to speculate too, given the Port Adelaide incident last year.

I don’t know. They looked fairly horrible for most of the match.
Footy Fix: Chris Fagan's finest hour? How the Lions gave the Dees - and Simon Goodwin - the mother of all baths
Sounds good that appraisal:
– Clarko took over Hawthorn when they were rock bottom.
– Hardwick took over a diabolical Richmond.
– Bevo was tipped to finish dead last in his first season.
– Simpson took over a shambles at West Coast following Whoosha’s burnout.
– Scott was handed the keys to the Bugatti, only to rebuild the beautiful V16 engine and win again over a decade later.
And finally…. McRae. The man who took over Collingwood in their darkest hour. A team that was tipped by every major ‘expert’ to finish in the bottom four during his first season.
I’m not sure it’s grounded in reality, though.
The problem with coaches staying too long: Will Brisbane have the courage to punt Fagan if they don't contend?
F@g0n works fine for me.

Hmmm.
You wrote a similar article about Hardwick before he won 3 Flags.

It happens to the best of us.

I never said the Blues weren’t incompetent too, Macca.
'The Essendon Edge': The Bombers are trying to fake it until they make it
Anyone deliberately tanking doesn’t finish 18th 5 years straight, Macca. They’re a little more cunning than that when trying to game the system.
Wise up, or stop playing stup!d.

You like to flip-flop with your articles, Tim. It’s getting borderline comical, I must say.
