With the Super 14 competition in full swing, and for a change, having three of the Australian contingent actually vying for a finals spot, I thought in might be timely to start to shape up a Test 15 for the International series in June.

I think most punters would agree that it could be the most competitive for staring places for some time.

Given the Reds, Brumbies and the mighty Tahs are travelling well, there could be a few headaches for selectors when they select the squad and then start the process of trimming to a starting 15/21.

As lover of all ball sports, I’m really impressed with our player stocks at the moment. So here is my starting 15, sans bench, to kick off some fruitful discussion.

Wallabies
Adam Ashley-Cooper
Peter Hynes
Digby Ioane
Matt Giteau
Drew Mitchell
Quade Cooper
Will Genia

Stephen Hoiles
Phil Waugh
Rocky Elsom
Dean Mumm
Nathan Sharpe
Al Baxter
Stephen Moore
Benn Alexander

Any thoughts?
