I don’t believe I can remember a story, in recent times, where the old saying, of a woman scorned, could be more aptly applied than in the case of er, um, gee, what’s her name?
You know the one I mean, the poor, innocent child who has been attempting to tear down the reputations of football players, clubs and managers.
First, let’s get a few things straight.
Yes, she is under 18; therefore according to Victorian law, she is still a minor. But a child? Poor?
We have no idea how much money (if any) has passed under the table since this sordid mess started.
Innocent?
Extremely doubtful as she has admitted setting out to destroy the St. Kilda players after being rejected and also admitted setting up Nixon.
She has admitted to drinking alcohol and being present when drugs were in use, having sex with several men and actively pursuing football players with the object of having sex.
Not exactly my idea of the virginal child.
We have reporters and even the AFL CEO, Andrew Demetriou, saying that all efforts should be made to help this poor girl.
Give me a break, it’s quite obvious what she is. So, let’s not be fooled by the press into thinking any different.
I’m not saying the players are totally innocent but have you asked every person you’ve had sex with to supply proof of age beforehand? No, I don’t think so!
As far as Nixon is concerned, it would appear as though he is a total moron and, if found to be guilty, should be expunged from the football scene.
These women have been around for a long time and given many different names, the least objectionable being “Groupies”.
