France coach Marc Lievremont on Friday confirmed Dimitri Yachvili will start against Wales in the Rugby World Cup semi-final at Eden Park.

The scrum-half had been doubtful following a bruised thigh suffered in the 19-12 quarter-final victory over England, but Lievremont said the Biarritz veteran was fit to play on Saturday.

Montpellier flanker Fulgence Ouedraogo will take the place of Louis Picamoles on the bench, while Toulouse halfback Jean Marc Doussain has been chosen ahead of centre David Marty among the seven replacements.

France: Maxime Medard, Vincent Clerc, Aurelien Rougerie, Maxime Mermoz, Alexis Palisson, Morgan Parra, Dimitri Yachvili, Imanol Harinordoquy, Julien Bonnaire, Thierry Dusautoir (capt), Lionel Nallet, Pascal Pape, Nicolas Mas, William Servat, Jean-Baptiste Poux. Res: Dimitri Szarzewski, Fabien Barcella, Julien Pierre, Fulgence Ouedraogo, Francois Trinh-Duc, Jean Marc Doussain, Cedric Heymans.
