In just a few hours the most exciting Premier League race in history will come to the climax. Manchester City and Manchester United are separated by just a few miles, and go into the 38th matchday equal on points. Live updates begin from 11.45pm AEST.

We know that Manchester City are in the drivers seat, but anything can happen, especially given that their opponents aren’t exactly playing for nothing, either.

And then there’s the Champions League race. Three teams vying for two (possibly one) spot amongst Europe’s elite next season.

We all know Arsenal are capable of bottling it in important games, and West Brom will be keen to give Roy Hodgson a win before he heads off to join the England squad as manager.

Spurs and Newcastle will know how possible it is that Arsenal will fail to get three points, and will be praying for a miracle at the Hawthorns.

And then there’s the final battle: relegation. The billionaire underdogs QPR and perennial battlers Bolton are both scrapping to stay alive in the top division.

QPR will stay up should Bolton fail to win, but Owen Coyle’s men will no doubt be aware of how dire QPR’s away record is (combined with the awe-inspiring home record of City) and against a Stoke team with nothing to play for, will surely fancy their chances.

Throughout the night I’ll keep you updated with what’s happening in all the important games. Join me just before 11.45pm AEST for any late news, and don’t hesitate to leave your thoughts in the space below.
