Following a tough and fruitless fortnight in South Africa, the Western Force return home to face a Melbourne Rebels outfit suddenly filled with vigour after a stunning win over the Crusaders. Join us for Super Rugby live score update and commentary from the kick-off at 4:35 AEST.

The second-year franchise didn’t put a foot wrong last week in executing one of the greatest Super Rugby upsets of all time, just seven days after pushing the red-hot Bulls to the limit at their AAMI Park fortress.

Things couldn’t be more contrasting for the Western Force however following a brutal 42-point defeat to the Sharks in Durban.

Since the sudden defection of Richard Graham to the Reds in late April, the team has been outscored 27-87 in just three matches.

Despite this, Sunday’s clash at NIB Stadium looms as an intriguing battle. Just five combined points have separated these two sides in three previous meetings.

The Rebels almost blew a 21-point lead but prevailed by one earlier this season while the Force took the honours 27-24 in what was essentially a dead rubber to conclude 2011.

In their first and only game in Perth, the Rebels snuck home by a point, largely thanks to this devious play that had former coach Rod Macqueen’s fingerprints all over it.

Can the Rebels continue rolling, or will the Force snap out of their five-game skid?
