Episode 2 opened at the end of the first fight with Team UK’s Norman Parke and Australia’s Xavier Lucas having a heated argument.

The fighters returned to the house, and the UK team started saying niggling to comments to the Australian fighter they’ve labelled ‘Fox Piss’, Ben Wall.

“I’m normally a lot louder but I’ve been a bit quiet so far in the house,” said Wall. “They don’t know how to take me and that will be an advantage in the fight.”

UFC Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos made a surprise visit to the TUF gym and met with both teams.

“Congratulations for being here”, JDS told Team UK. “It’s a big step being here and I hope to see all you guys in the UFC.”

Team Australia were shocked when the UFC champion walked into the room. “The Australian team were much more happy to see me,” JDS said. He then went on to tell the Australian team what the UFC bosses are after in a fighter.

UK coach Ross Pearson spoke with the injured Michael Pastou to bear the news about his status in the TUF house. “The UFC want you to go home,” Pearson said. “I didn’t want you to go. Just go home, see your family and heal up.”

“It’s heartbreaking,” Pastou said about leaving. “It’s everything I’ve worked for.” Later that night Pastou packed his bags and said his final goodbyes before leaving the TUF house for good.

Team UK headed to the gym and concentrated on their grappling. Colin ‘The Freak Show’ Fletcher who likes to dress as a clown, decided to play a prank, climbing up and adding a moustache, pirate patch and a nipple ring to Australian coach, George Sotiropoulos’ portrait photo on the wall.

When Sotiropoulos entered the gym he noticed the edits to his portrait. “He disrespected our coach. He is disrespecting somebody we are looking up to,” said Australian team member Xavier Lucas.

“They’re a bunch of clowns,” Sotiropoulos said. “They can play the game.”

The two teams came together at the gym for the fight announcement. With Australia winning the first fight they maintained control and Sotiropoulos chose Ben Wall (AUS) vs Colin ‘The Freakshow’ Fletcher (UK).

With Pastou on his way home team UK’s new Lightweight, Brendan Loughnane entered the house. “I didn’t expect to be here,” the 22 year old said. “Two days ago I was sitting on the couch at home, but now I’m in the house with them.”

After studying Fletcher’s record, Sotiropoulos and Ben Wall went to work on striking and defending chokes with ‘The Freak Show’s’ record showing he loves to finish off fights with his modified guillotine.

Team UK seemed adamant on putting a beating on ‘Fox Piss’, with Fletcher predicting a choke, after UK coaches noticing Wall likes to put his neck out there when defending takedowns.

Both fighters made weight for the fight: Ben Wall (155.5lbs vs. Colin Fletcher (156lbs).

“Is he [Fletcher] still happy”, Sotiropoulos asked Pearson following the weigh-in, Pearson replied “‘Course he’s happy.”

Ben Wall (AUS) vs Colin Fletcher (UK):

Round 1 – Wall looked for a takedown off the start and had Fletcher pinned against the cage. Fletcher took the neck of Wall and escaped with Fletcher looking to land knees from the clinch. Both fighters battled for position and Wall landed a stinging uppercut. Wall landed another combination on Fletcher, before Wall ate more knees from Fletcher. Wall landed a jab on the break and tied it up again taking Fletcher to the mat. But Fletcher took top position landing elbows and hammer fists with Wall scrambling on his back. Fletcher looked for the choke but Wall was saved by the bell. 10-9 Fletcher.

Round 2 – Fletcher opened the round with kicks while Wall was first to land with his jab and stunned Fletcher. Wall fought behind his jab keeping the distance and scoring with punches. Wall had Fletcher backpedalling but a solid shot cut Wall who was bleeding from his nose. Wall moved forward, but Fletcher again looked for the neck of Wall, landing knees from the clinch. Fletcher had the better of the encounters to close out the fight strong. 10-9 Fletcher.

Colin Fletcher def Ben Wall via UD.

“I have a newfound respect for Ben,” Fletcher said post-fight. “He took some huge knees.”
