Round 11 sees a Queensland Reds side that is starting to look like they did in 2011 welcome the Blues to Suncorp Stadium. We’ll have live scores and commentary from 7.40pm AEST.

The Reds are currently riding a four-game unbeaten streak after a nail-biting draw against the Brumbies last weekend.

The return of the halfback partnership of Will Genia and Quade cooper has seen a massive response from the rest of the squad, who seem to have upped their game collectively.

The Reds currently sit in fourth position on the table and will be looking to decisively beat the second-placed blues to prove that this season can be a winning one.

The Blues are coming off back to back wins over the Highlanders and Hurricanes and will be hoping that this rematch of the 2011 Super Rugby semi-final at Suncorp Stadium won’t yield the same result as it did on that day, when the Reds won 30-13.

The Blues have looked like a different side from last season’s horror show but they have still managed to get caught in scrappy games against the Waratahs and Chiefs.

I see this game going the way of the Reds who will be pumped up after last weeks anti-climactic draw against the Brumbies, a team that they dominated in nearly all facets of the game.

Whilst the Blues have looked solid and the likes of Rene Ranger and Piri weepu seeing a return to form, I see the Reds winning this one by more than six in front of a booming Suncorp crowd.
