How good can Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry be? Will the constant sprains and tweaks ultimately prevent him from becoming a superstar?

Undersized for NBA standards at 6’3” and 185 pounds, it’s hard to not fall in love with his ability to shoot the basketball.

When the Warriors selected Curry, many couldn’t see beyond his long range artistry. Despite having the quickest release in recent memory, few felt that he would be able to consistently get ‘that shot’ off against NBA-level talent.

Warriors coach Mark Jackson’s isn’t shy when showcasing his admiration for the 25-year-old point guard.

“He has come such a long way, and he’s an elite player in this league. His ability to make plays, his
ability to defend. He competes. He’s a point guard, and that was a question mark coming into this league. He plays with an edge, and he’s carried us.”

All season long, the only thing quicker than the release on Curry’s jumper has been his recovery from ankle sprains.

At times, it has visible for all to see that Curry was hurting, he was sore but just the competitive spirit, the adrenaline saw him through the difficult times.

He’s a true warrior in every sense of the word.
