Four straight wins for the Cowboys and the boys from the north are back in the hunt for the finals.

The chance for finals football seemed long gone after a heart-breaking loss to the Broncos at home which should have been the death knell of the season.

Fortunately, through the combination of results going their way, excellent team form and the introduction of new blood such as Kyle Feldt, and Wayne Ulugia have lifted the team to it’s true potential.

Neil Henry and the rest of North Queensland must be wondering where was these at the start of the season instead of the tail end.

Initially, the Cowboys were playing with no pressure with there finals aspiration seems dead at the time meant high-risk and free-flowing football a plenty as at the time they was nothing to lose.

As a result, the Cowboys show dangerous, vintage attack and hardened defence that was missing in the first half of the season.

Cowboys are away to Cronulla which is the most important game of the season if they can remain consistent they can win, but at times the Cowboys can be one of the most inconsistent teams in the competition.

It’s a matter of showing up with the right attitude and form to get the job done. After that, is Wests Tigers at home who are pretty dangerous against the Cowboys no matter where there at on the ladder.
