The Adelaide Crows will fancy their chances of securing three straight victories when they clash against a Western Bulldogs side coming off a disappointing defeat to Carlton. Join us for live scores and commentary from 1:10pm AEST.

The Bulldogs’ loss to Carlton last week ended a two-match winning streak for the club, and getting back into the winner’s circle will prove a challenge against Adelaide today.

The Crows are coming off back-to-back victories over St Kilda and Greater Western Sydney, and are starting to build some winning momentum after a poor loss to Sydney back in Round 3.

If history is anything to go by, expect a tight encounter between two teams that are evenly matched. Adelaide hold a narrow 21-17 winning record over the Bulldogs, but the Crows did lose their last encounter in Round 21 last year.

Of concern for Adelaide will be their poor record playing the Bulldogs at Etihad. The Bulldogs have won their past five matches against the Crows playing at Etihad, and are 6-1 overall against the Crows at the venue.

Despite Adelaide’s poor record against the Bulldogs away from home, they are capable of mounting a strong challenge today.

It will be interesting to see which side dominates contested possession numbers given that both teams are really struggling in that regard this season. Whoever wins the contested possession numbers today may go on to secure victory.

Adelaide have the winning momentum at the moment, but their poor record at Etihad is a cause for concern. The Bulldogs will be eager to bounce back after a poor defeat to Carlton, but the Crows do have what it takes to snatch a win.
