This Saturday UFC Fight Night: Rockhold versus Bisping takes place at the Allphones Arena.

I will be cage-side, delivering live updates as the card unfolds.

With fight week officially underway, there will be a few things to watch out for before and during the event. Here are a few to keep your eye on.

The pre-fight main event trash talk
Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping aren’t known for their subtlety or reserved opinions. There have been plenty of verbal shots thrown already and it can only get better with pre-fight adrenaline and weight cut crankiness in play.

Their disdain for one another is very real.

An exciting co-main event
While the culmination of a rivalry in the main event is sure to provide fireworks, it’s the co-main event that has the highest ‘fight of the night’ potential. Both are lightweights on the rise known for exchanging punches in the Octagon centre. Don’t blink.

A rejuvenated Robert Whittaker
In a previous interview, Whittaker mentioned that the cut to welterweight had taken its toll on his body. With a still-growing frame the move to middleweight is the logical next step for his career. Without the stressful weight cut, look for Whittaker to exhibit more energy as the fight progresses.

Improvement from the talented Jake Matthews
The young Matthews impressed big-time when he finished Dashon Johnson in his UFC debut in June. At 7-0, Matthews continues to improve and is still a while away from reaching his pick. The ceiling is high for this kid.

A reserved game plan from Soa Palelei (with a big finish)
In his last fight against Jared Rosholt in Auckland, Palelei was outworked and outwrestled en route to a grinding decision that ended his long winning-streak. Palelei seemed to tire quickly as the fight wore on.

Though he’s known for quick finishes, Palelei will likely pace himself a bit better in this fight and take the win as it comes rather than forcing it. Still, keep your eyes peeled for a quick finish.

A hungry Dylan Andrews
Andrews walked away disappointed last year in Brisbane as his fight with Clint Hester was cut short due to a shoulder injury. With almost a year off recuperating, Andrews will be hungry to both come out with a win and to give fans the show that he hadn’t delivered last year. He will be super focused for this one.

Marcus Brimage’s Dragon Ball Z power scouter
Realistically, it’s not that noteworthy. But for those of us who grew up in the 1990s it’s just plain cool.
