Port Adelaide Power return to the Adelaide Oval in a match up with the Western Bulldogs, with both clubs desperate for the four points on the line. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 7:40pm (AEST).

The Power have dropped too many games for their liking, and would have been relieved to register a win against Melbourne in Alice Springs last week.

The manner in which they fought back and ran away in the finish would give coach Ken Hinkley some hope that they have turned their season around.

Despite some unexpected losses, the Power still boast one of the best midfields going around.

Hamish Hartlett is playing his 100th game and has been having a solid season with Travis Boak, Brett Ebert and Robbie Gray. All are getting back to their 2014 form and supplying key forward Jay Schulz with opportunities to add to his goals tally.

Schulz will be a key player as the Dogs defence is undermanned. When he plays well the Power win – last time against the Dogs he kicked eight!

Home ground advantage will play a big part in this game and could be the deciding factor in the end. Last game at the Adelaide Oval Power defeated the Dogs by 72 points.

Western Bulldogs come to Adelaide after defying expectations and recording a stirring win over the Giants. There seems to be no limit to what they can achieve this year, and another win on the road will consolidate a spot in the eight.

Captain Rob Murphy is their key architect, consistently rebounding the ball out of defence and setting up their forward thrusts. Importantly, Luke Dahlhaus is capable of matching the Power’s midfield and this is the area of the ground that will determine the outcome the game.

In selection news the Bulldogs have two big omissions with injuries to Liam Picken and Marcus Bontempelli. They have offset these losses by getting key forwards back in Jake Stringer and Stewart Crameri.

Prediction
Power to win but it will be closer than last time.

Power by 29 points.

Have the Power turned the corner after last week’s win, or will the Dogs continue their fantastic run of upset results? Join The Roar from 7:40pm (AEST) for score updates and debate in our live blog.
