League ladders Manchester City host an in-form West Ham United outfit in the English Premier League. Will Manuel Pellegrini’s side remain undefeated, or can Slaven Bilic mastermind yet another upset? Join The Roar from 2:30am (AEST) for all the action.

There is no denying City are the form side in the Premier League, having remained undefeated since day dot – only one of two sides to do so (the other is Leicester City).

However, West Ham have claimed the prized scalps of both Liverpool and Arsenal this season and will be raring to add another to their collection.

The Citizens have recorded seven wins in their last 10 against the Hammers, with their opponents only taking home the three points on one occasion.

In the corresponding fixture last season, City ran out the victors 2-0, with goals to Sergio Aguero and an own goal to defender James Collins. The bookies have City as convincing favourites for this one ($1.25) while the Hammers are at a long but very backable $10.

The Hammers find themselves in fifth place after five matches, a more-than-respectable outcome, but are Bilic’s side really contenders for Champions League qualification? A result here would surely make them believe they are.

Aguero remains the key up front for City and he will be ably supported by David Silva and new big-money signings Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne. The latter is searching for his first goal in sky blue and will aim to make an immediate impact in what could well be his first start for his new side.

Down the other end of the pitch, Dmitri Payet has been in imperious form, including a marvellous brace against Newcastle during the week. He will be ably supported by the likes of Diafra Sakho, Cheikhou Kouyate and Alessandro Lanzini.

In team news, the Hammers remain without Mauro Zarate (hamstring), Enner Valencia (knee), Alex Song (ankle) and Angelo Ogbonna (hamstring). The Citizens have an injury list comprising Fabien Delph (hamstring), Fernando (groin), Pablo Zabaleta (knee) and Gael Clichy (ankle).

Prediction
Man City 3-1 West Ham
