Queensland Country will be looking to end their 2015 NRC season on a high when they host the University of Canberra Vikings. Join The Roar from 7:30pm (AEDT) for live scores.

After a devastating loss to the North Harbour Rays last week, Queensland Country’s hopes for semi-final qualification were extinguished.

Country were torn apart by brothers Josh and Luke Holmes, who led the Rays to a 50 – 32 win at the Pittwater Rugby Park in Sydney.

Country will now be looking to end to their campaign with a win in front of their home fans.

The Vikings have already secured second position on the NRC ladder, and a big win could have them finish as minor premiers, depending on other results.

The Vikings were venturing towards an undefeated season, however their streak was broken by fellow unbeaten side and former champions Brisbane City last week.

Despite both sides scoring at five tries, Christian Lealiifano’s only managed to convert two for the Vikings, which made all the difference in the end, with City winning by 6.

The Vikings and City are still favourites to play off in the final, with both sides already securing a spot in the semis.
