Real Madrid can go to the top of Group A with a win over Paris Saint-Germain at home. Join The Roar from 6:45am (AEDT) for live scores of this UEFA Champions League clash.

Unbeaten in all competitions, La Liga leaders Real Madrid need to stay on form against a dangerous PSG.

Madrid are coming off an impressive 3-1 win over Las Palmas, where Isco and Cristiano Ronaldo both found the net early, before Jese Rodriguez put the final nail in Las Palmas’ coffin right before halftime.

Real Madrid have been firing all season, however manager Rafael Benitez faces a potential problem, with Gareth Bale in doubt. Bale returned from international duty with Wales with a calf injury, but has since returned to training.

Luka Modric and Karim Benzema are also under injury clouds, however key defensive men Pepe and Sergio Ramos return from respective leg and shoulder injuries.

PSG travel to the legendary Bernabeu also undefeated in all competitions this season.

The Ligue 1 leaders are coming off a 1-nil away win over Rennes, with Angel Di Maria scoring in the 75th minute for PSG earn another three points, placing them 10 points above second-place Olympique Lyonnias on the table.

They will be without Javier Pastore, who is ill, and Marquinhos, who has a shoulder injury. However Lauernt Blanc’s side will be boosted by the return of Brazilian defender David Luiz, who has recovered from a knee injury with saw him miss out on PSG’s past four fixtures.

The last time these two sides faced off, last month in the Champions League, resulted in a lacklustre, nil-all draw.

A win for either side guarantees qualification into the next stage of the competition, provided that Malmo are defeated by Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine in the other Group A fixture.

Prediction
Real Madrid 1-0 Paris Saint-Germain
