Sweet revenge as Waratahs put on a clinic to storm to Super Rugby W title after perfect season
The Tahs won 50-14 after going through the 2024 season undefeated and avenging the semi-final loss last year to Fijian Drua.
Wallabies player James Horwill had a game to remember for Harlequins scoring the winning try to end Saracens 14-match unbeaten streak in all competitions.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing for Horwill though, with the lock shown a yellow card in the first two minutes of the English premiership game for a dangerous forearm that knocked out George Kruis.
It was a tense arm-wrestle for the rest of the contest and Horwill was able to to pounce for the winning try in the final minute after barging over from close range. Harlequins winning 29-23.
